Now she’s healthy, happy, and ready for a fresh start. Despite her rough beginning, Petey has a gentle, loving personality. She enjoys being around people and is eager to give and receive affection. She has so much love to offer and deserves a family that will give her the attention, patience, and care she’s been waiting for. Petey is looking for a home where she can continue to blossom and be treated like the cherished companion she is. You’ll be giving an incredible dog the second chance she truly deserves.

My coworker fell on hard times and I agreed to take in her dog since she has to move back to Texas. We never planned on keeping him full time and are just the halfway point for him to a new forever home. He's lived with kids before and he's very, very friendly. After one meeting he usually comes around to people. He's a little pushy when it comes to other dogs but I've never noticed any concerning behaviors otherwise. We keep him separate from our cats for the most part so I'm not sure how good he is with cats. He's VERY strong, so be warned. He's not really all that trained and has a bad habit of jumping. Overall he's a very sweet boy who deserves a good home
