Are you looking for a wonderful, sweet, fully-trained adult dog to snuggle with? Look no further - Pixel is here! Pixel is a 45 lb, 6-year-old mix breed dog that we've had since adopting her at ten weeks old. She is affectionate, goofy, and loyal with a huge heart. She is fully house trained and doesn't jump up on furniture unless asked. She loves Nylabone chew toys and is not destructive in the home. We love our little miss Pix dearly, but she has anxiety that manifested in resource guarding behaviors, and because our third child was born in January we don't have the capacity to work with her on them. She would do best in a home without other dogs, or with an owner who is experienced with helping dogs overcome behavioral concerns. She comes with her crate, dog bed, food/water bowls, collar/leash, brush, bag of food, and (if desired) Christmas stocking. She is chipped and has pet insurance, both of which I will transfer. We found him roaming in the neighborhood, and after feeding him and caring for him, we realized how smart and sweet he is. We posted about him in the Nextdoor app, and though we had two people interested in adopting him, they ultimately decided not to. About Solovino: - Young adult, healthy and neutered. -Crate trained and enjoys his safe space - House-trained and uses the doggy door - Knows commands: sit, stay, shake, and wait - Medium energy: playful but also loves naps - Dog-friendly, though he resource guards food with other dogs (can be managed with training or separate feeding) Solovino would make a fantastic companion for an active family or anyone looking for a loving, playful dog who's eager to learn and bond but also appreciates some quiet time. He's ready to give lots of love!

Story
Lucy is an older dog we adopted from an abusive home. When we first took her in, she was timid and very shy - holding just about any object in your hand would scare her. As time passed, she has grown bold and her personality shines bright! Lucy is gentle and inquisitive. She loves to snuggle and will stick to you like glue! She has been great with other dogs, even smaller ones, and even with my sister's 1 year old. She understands lots of words and will catch on to your household patterns quickly! Lucy is spayed, house broken, and very obedient once she trusts you. She is pretty low energy affectionate. My wife's health has reached a point where she needs constant care. Ive been in denial about this for a time, but I can't afford vet visits plus my wifes medical bills and prescriptions on just my one income. I find I'm lacking time to take Lucy on walks and lacking funds to keep her flea/tick treatments current. It's a tragedy but we need to find her a good home.
