I’ve had him for a day. He’s a sweet dog but I acted compulsively. He had been in the shelter for a year. I already have a dog that has behavioral issues and I thought it would be helpful for her to be around another dog that was good with people. I’m just not ready for him.

Story
My dad has been on an uphill battle with his health. Due to this, we are looking for a home for his best girl, Lady. I have been fostering her since May, but I am unfortunately unable to keep her due to her and my other female dog not getting along (and honestly I am overwhelmed with 5 dogs). What I have learned about Lady over the past few months: - She is syrupy sweet and LOVES all the attention she can get - She loves to play with her chewy bones - She does not like other female dogs but does ok with my male dogs but ideally would like to be the only dog - She really likes my cats 😂 (would do best with an outgoing cat that doesn't mind to put her in her place) - She likes women more than men. It took her about 3 days to warm up to my husband. Likes kids but recommend older kids due to her size. - She LOVES to go on walks and does well on a leash - She is crate trained and house trained - Vetting is UTD and she is currently on flea/tick preventio
