He is currently 14 weeks old and have a sweet, affectionate personality that makes him a joy to be around.Due to our unexpected life style schedule, we are looking for a new home where he will receive plenty of love, attention, and care. I’m looking for a rescue or adopter for my dog Opie, that we rescued from a shelter about a year and a half or so ago. Opie is about 2-3 years old, and an unknown mixed breed. i believe he is some kind of terrier mix. He’s had a troubled past (or so we think), and I was super hopeful our home would be it for him. Unfortunately, the previous rescue did not expose him to men, or children. Which he has shown issues with both since we have had him. He is okay with MOST men, but he needs to be introduced properly, as i believe he was possibly abused at some point in his life. Our biggest issue is with children. Our kids are just way too much for him, and we have had multiple issues of him not acclimating well despite us trying everything. He will do best in a home with adults with experience with dogs with anxiety. But otherwise, he’s so sweet. Loves fetch and treats. And gets the zoomies when he’s happy! Please reach out for more info! I want to find him a home he can thrive.
