Athena’s story started with a big act of courage for such a small pup. She was found curled up under a car at just a few weeks old, trying to stay warm. Since that day, she has been my loyal, sweet, and incredibly brave companion, growing up alongside me through my young adulthood. She is a curious soul who loves exploring her world and is wonderfully motivated by treats, making training sessions both fun and rewarding. While her early years during the pandemic meant she hasn’t been around children, she is a deeply affectionate dog once she gets to know you. She can get a little jumpy and excited when meeting new people, but given a moment to settle, her warm and loving nature shines right through.

Story
Biscuits is an amazing dog! She is fine with her own space and will lie down out of the way if you are doing anything, but her favorite thing in the world is a good belly rub. She is fine with a foot rub or a hand rub and would stay for hours getting her stomach rubbed if you let her. She is also content being rubbed anywhere else as long as you want to. She is pretty low-energy for a 3-year-old, unless prompted, but will walk with you and respond well to being called. She is our Walmart rescue and has been a great piece to our family. Unfortunately, due to new work schedules, she is not getting the life she deserves and would be blessed to receive the love and attention she deserves more often.

Story
I originally found her on the side of a road where it seemed someone had dumped her. I ended up adopting her but I want someone who has more time for her and can work with her to get more comfortable around other people. She's very sweet but she barks and growls when meeting new people. She's skittish around other dogs at times but she does go to the dog park and doesnt normally bark at people there. She loves toys and has been known to fit two tennis balls in her mouth at a time just for funsies. After she gets all the running out she likes belly scratches and cuddles. She's also very food motivated so that helps with training. Honey is funny, hyper, lovable, and just needs someone with patience to work with her more.

Zara is a sweet, playful, four month old cattle dog mix. We rescued her from an owner who could not take care of her but we can't keep her long term. She is doing well on walks, leash training, crate training, sleeping through the night, house trained, and other basic commands like sit, down, off, leave it, stay, and recently shake - she is very smart and treat motivated. She loves people and is especially great with kids. She is fully vaccinated and has been given a clean bill of health by our vet. She is super sweet, very social, great with kids, loves walks and fetch, and ready for her forever home. She will come with food, supplies, and all her fun toys.

Story
This is George. He is a loving, cuddly and sweet 5 year old, 50lb collie mix. I adopted him from the shelter 4 years ago. He has been a great companion and joy! Unfortunately due to an unknown traumatic past before the shelter, he has some quirks that make it difficult to live in a home with men and children. Due to this I am looking to find George a new loving home that will give him the life he deserves. He is great with routine! He is very nervous and hesitant with new situations and people. However, he quickly adapts once he knows he is safe. When he is comfortable he is the most loving and sweet boy you could ever ask for. He is a quick learner and picks up on commands after a couple practices. He loves a comfy bed with lots of blankets, butt scratches, tummy rubs, new squeaky toys, peanut butter and Nylabones! He loves to play in the yard and chase after tennis balls, squirrels and birds. He would love a home with a steady routine, cuddles and not too many new people around.

Ace is around 10 months old and a mix breed. He is a good boy but needs someone that can spend more time with him and teach him some basic obedience and manbers. He is young and seeks more attention than we can give at this time. He is neutered and up to date on vaccinations. He has been on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. We are happy to provide a few months of food to assist.
