I adopted Greta when she was 4 months old from a shelter in Arlington and she was the cutest little doll! She is currently two and half years old and very sweet. She loves to sleep with me on the bed and has a mild temperament. She is an indoor cat and has not had exposure to other cats or dogs since she left the shelter. I recently moved to a three story townhouse and my parents are moving in with me. My mother has allergies and therefore we must give Greta up for adoption. I have also noticed that Greta is extremely afraid of the stairs at our new three story townhouse. I believe it would be best if she was adopted by someone living in a single story home or apartment.

Looking terrified, cowering in the back of the kennel and very sick, the shelter called and we took her in immediately. Just 7 weeks old, despite her dire condition, she was still sweet and cuddly. She earned the moniker, Simone, for her calm, chill ways, and later completely owned it with her plush fur and lush plump little body. Simone, now almost 4 mos old, a bountiful 4.6 lbs, hands down gorgeous and filled with lots of love. She’s a big kitten, it's a joy to cuddle that plump dumpling. Very affectionate, gives kisses, very laid back, still chill and is pure sugar sweet. Oh yes, she's very playful, curious and LOVES to eat. Simone has a languid vibe about her.Simone, seen here in photos chillaxin’ with her best buddy, Zoe, who is available for adoption too. They make a great pair, they love to eat, play and sleep together. Preference will be given to applicants wanting both kittens. Simone and Zoe tag team one another, where one leaves off, the other picks up. Simone the elegant lady, Zoe the blast of a rock star. They complement one another, but come together on common pleasures.Simone's most perfect home is where she would be an integral part of a family, receiving lots of love and attention, and another playful kitty (or ZOE!) is an absolute MUST. We do not adopt single kittens this age without another cat (or a dog that loves cats). Adoption protocol, begins with a submitted application, Adoption Director schedules a phone interview, if approved by her our Adoption Coordinator will schedule your virtual home check. IF approved, your application, subsequent emails and comments are forwarded to pet's foster who will contact you to schedule a meet and adopt. If all parties are in agreement to move forward to adopt we will have an adoption contract with all pet's medical paperwork for you to sign and keep. With payment of adoption fee you are granted same day adoption. But you are under no obligation to adopt. We do lifetime followups, we are not an adopt and drop rescue.
