River here! I know the first thing you notice is amazing…smile? Nope its my underbite! If you could win an award for one I imagine I would have a trophy! I’m a friendly guy who loves other dogs and people! I go to daycare and love playing with other pups while I’m there. My foster parents say one of the funniest things I do is toss my toys in the air and I get confused when they don’t land right next to me. I’m kind a a goofy guy. Speaking of playing I also dog fetch and love playing with my dog toys. I’m not just all about romping around though. I’m a great one to cuddle with and really enjoy Netflix nights on the couch I live with a feline friend and we get along great. I have also met children and I was very appropriate and sweet around them. I’m great in my crate and I have house training down! If you are looking for a fun guy who lives to meet new people, I’m your guy!

Meet Avery! ??Hello! My name is Avery, and I’m a beautiful white Lab mix with soft hints of apricot. I’m a female about 1 year old, and I arrived at the shelter with my friend August, whose story will be shared a little later.I recently returned from spending a few weeks in a foster home. Unfortunately, August and I developed a dangerous habit of chasing cars and venturing into the roadway, so we came back to the shelter for our safety. I’ll need a responsible home with secure fencing, supervised outdoor time, and help learning that cars are not something to chase.I have received my medical examination, and—darn it—I tested positive for heartworms. That may help explain why this summer heat has been especially difficult for me. My future family will need to understand my medical needs and help me through treatment. I’m also scheduled to be spayed next week.August and I are now available for adoption. You may be interested in one of us or both—we don’t mind! What we need most is for someone to notice us, spend a little time getting to know us, and give us the opportunity to show what wonderful companions we could become.Could you come and spend some time with me? A simple visit might be the beginning of my forever story.

?? Hi, I’m Agatha—and I’m ready for a fresh start!When I was adopted as a puppy in 2024, I thought I had found my forever home. Unfortunately, my adopter’s circumstances changed. He was relocating, and his new lease wouldn’t allow a dog my size. That meant, I came back to the shelter in September 2026 to find a new family—through no fault of my own.Now I’m hoping someone will see me not as a dog who was returned, but as a girl who deserves another chance. ??I weigh 46 pounds, am spayed, and am up to date on my vaccines. I already have some wonderful family-dog skills: I’m housebroken, leash trained, and I love car rides!
