Story
Blue Ivy is a sweet young girl, who is being cared for by a wonderful foster family until she can find her furever home. Her foster has provided the following feedback on her: "Blue Ivy is a beautiful steel grey pittie mix pup with 4 white feet, a white smudge on her chest, and light green eyes, She is a gangly tween who loves to buck when she's happy, or ends up in a tangle of legs when skidding across the floor. Her shelter name is Blue Ivy, but we Blue because her heart is true blue. Blue is a strong, active, growing girl who would benefit from daily exercise and enrichment. She would love to run trails with you, be your agility partner, leap for frisbees, play fetch. She also has a silly couch potato side, and would love to jump up next to you and flop her big head onto your lap for an ear scratch, or roll over for a belly rub. Blue would thrive with someone who is committed to working with her on bringing her out of her shy shell, and on higher levels skills and manners. She is working on basic obedience in high distraction situations, including: down, stay, leave it, touch, watch me, come, off, leave it, a solid recall, and the command "place. She is crate trained, almost house broken, and is working on walking on a leash. She loves playing with dogs, but because she is shy, she would be happiest playing with a consistent group of dog friends. She would benefit from an older steady dog to show her the ropes. Blue would love to find a forever family who will put in training time to help her grow into the amazing dog she is. She would do best with an experienced dog owner, and older dog-savvy kids. If you think you might be her forever family, she is ready to snuggle, play, learn, and be your true Blue." Blue Ivy will be fully vaccinated, spayed and microchipped as part of the adoption process. If interested, please submit an application to jellysplace.org. Approved applicants will be contacted for an introduction.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Leo is a gorgeous 3 year old Great Pyrenees mix who was rescued from death row at the Contra Costa County Animal Shelter. He is an active, happy, affectionate, dog friendly dog. He is potty and crate trained, knows basic obedience, can do a number of tricks, walks great on a leash and is very eager to please. The perfect home for Leo would be an active family with older kids and another dog. We do not recommend children under 10 in the home, as Leo can jump on them when excited and is prone to resource guarding his food. Leo would thrive in an home where he can go on regular walks and get the love he deserves. If interested in meeting wonderful Leo, please complete an application at www.jellysplace.org. Leo is neutered, microchipped and UTD on vaccines. Leo is available for adoption and qualified applicants will be contacted. Leo's adoption fee is sponsored by a Jelly's Place volunteer.
