This dog is a serious jumper—he can easily clear gates and low fences—and he needs a secure environment and an owner who understands his physical needs. Baxter is also a bit rude in his manners; he`s prone to pushing, jumping on people, and generally needs lessons in polite etiquette. He requires an adopter who is dedicated to enrolling him in structured training and providing consistent boundaries. Because of his boisterous nature and need for work, Baxter is best suited for a home with teens (13+) and adults only who can handle his strength and participate actively in his journey to becoming a well-mannered companion. Criss is a sweet and playful boy! He is friendly with people and is good with other dogs. He is doing well in his foster home and ready for a forever home. Criss started some leash training and is learning at a good pace. He is crate-trained and doing well on his housetraining. He rides well in the car and can wait patiently while his foster mom runs errands. Criss is a wonderful boy and will make a good family dog. Criss’s Rescue Story Criss’s mom, Christmas, was owned by irresponsible and mean owners. His mom was not spayed and had a litter of six puppies. Poor Christmas didn’t even get food regularly. The founder of an international rescue organization got a rescue message to save Christmas and her puppies. When the founder arrived at the site, she saw how poorly they were treated. There was no food and water. Christmas was all skin and bone. She quickly persuaded her owners to surrender Christmas and all her puppies to her. The owner insisted that they would like to keep one of the puppies to guard their property. The rescue insisted that they should not ever have dogs since they don’t care for them. Christmas and her puppies were rushed to the vet for a thorough medical checkup. Criss has been neutered, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on his blood tests. Wugo’s Rescue Story Wugo was rescued from an overcrowded government shelter. She didn’t stand a chance for adoption as she is a black dog and they are often misunderstood and overlooked. Poor girl was so sweet with the staffs at the shelter. By chance, a dog rescuer was at the shelter and extremely heartbroken seeing so many animals suffering. She has over 160 dogs waiting for homes and didn’t have space for another dog. However, Wugo was following her around and it was just so hard for her to leave her. Wugo was in the same cell with 2 other dogs. The rescuer decided to take them all home and give them a chance in life. Wugo had a thorough medical checkup. She has been spayed, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on her blood tests. Please give Wugo a loving home where she will never be left behind again.
