Story
I am a calm, loving girl who is friendly with everyone I meet! Sadly, I ended up here in the shelter because my previous owner could no longer take care of me. I came here with my sister, Nahla, but we can be adopted together or separately. I am house-trained, good with other dogs, and friendly with kids, too! I seem to also be good with cats. As an added bonus - I know some basic commands, such as “sit”, “stay”, “paw”, “down”, and “come”! Not to brag, but doesn’t that make me the package deal?! I might be a little older, but I still have so much love left to give. If you are looking for a best friend to shower your days with love and loyalty, I might be the perfect match! Ask to meet me - I cannot wait to say hi!Weighs around 80 lbs - House-trained! - Good with other dogs, children, and cats!

Story
I am a friendly and outgoing sweetheart! Sadly, I ended up here in the shelter because my previous owners were moving. I am both house-trained and crate-trained, know some basic commands like “sit” and “down”, and have lived well with older children! I am also friendly with other dogs and cats, too! I promise to fill your days with laughter, tail wags, and unconditional love. All I need is a chance to show you how special I am. Ask to meet me! I would love to be your new best friend!Meet Gracie — Walks With Purpose, Pulls With Confidence, Loves With Her Whole Heart ????Gracie is a 3-year-old lab mix who knows exactly how life works—and is mildly confused about why she’s back at the shelter. She was adopted and later returned for a very human reason: her owner was spending a lot of time in the hospital. Gracie didn’t mess up. Life just changed. When I clipped the leash on her, Gracie didn’t look around, didn’t check in, didn’t ask questions. She beelined straight for the exit like, “Cool, I remember this drill.” Outside, she handled her bathroom business efficiently (10/10 professionalism) and immediately resumed walking with intention.Important note: Gracie pulls on leash. Not in a chaotic way—more in a “I have places to be” way. She’ll need someone who’s either ready to work on leash manners or simply big enough and confident enough to manage her strength while that training happens. She’s over 70 pounds of determination and love. From a dog walking volunteer: `In the yard, off leash, Gracie revealed her softer side. She sat for photos (briefly—she’s not here to model full-time), accepted affection, and reminded me she’s actually a sweetheart once the pressure is off.Gracie is reportedly house trained and crate trained, and she’s the unicorn of shelter dogs: good with dogs, cats, and kids. She comes wrapped in a gorgeous black coat with a splash of white on her chest and an adorable curled tail that seems to have a personality of its own.Gracie knows how to live in a home. She’s done it before. She’s just waiting for someone who can keep up with her stride, laugh at her confidence, and give her the stability she deserves. If you’re looking for a strong, sweet, family-friendly dog who walks like she’s late for an appointment and loves like she means it—Gracie is ready to go.`Weighs around 70 lbs - Great with other dogs, cats, and children! - House and Crate Tained!

Story
Roxy is very shy when you first meet her, but once she knows you, she is very lovable. She doesn`t seem too fond of other dogs, is very selective, and guards resources/food. She was surrendered for being reactive to cats, but in a foster home, she was fine with them. She may do best with cats that are comfortable with dogs already, or no cats. Roxy walks great on a leash. She sleeps in her crate at night and never messes in it. She is used to going out first thing in the morning, then around noon, and finally around 4 pm or 5 pm. She loves her toys.Weighs around 22 lbs - House-trained - Walks great on a leash - Extremely sweet, loyal girl once she warms up to you.
