I am a sweet and gorgeous girl with a friendly demeanor. Sadly, I ended up in the shelter after being found as a stray, but I have to say I walk nicely on a leash, take treats gently, play nicely with other dogs, and already know basic commands like “sit” and “paw”. I am easygoing, affectionate, and always happy to spend time with my favorite humans. I also love playing in water! Beach or pool day? Count me in! If you`re looking for a fun and loyal companion who can offer the perfect balance of playfulness and affection, I might be the perfect match! Weighs around 65 lbs. Good with other dogs.

I am a very sweet young girl who sadly ended up in the shelter due to my previous owner facing health issues. My hobbies and interests include peaceful strolls with my favorite humans and playing in the yard. I walk great on a leash, take treats gently, and play nicely with my fellow canine friends! When I am not having fun and playing, I have a loving and affectionate side, too! Snuggles? Count me in! I am still a young girl with a lot of training potential and very treat motivated! I am just looking for my forever person and/or family to shower with endless love and loyalty! What do you say? Can I be your new best friend? Weighs around 60 lbs - Good with other dogs! - Affectionate

Story
Meet Luna, a 3-year-old Labrador Retriever mix with soulful eyes and a heart slowly learning to trust again. She came to Flagler Humane Society on September 9, 2024, along with three other dogs rescued from a heartbreaking hoarding/cruelty case. All four were malnourished, feral, and terrified of people. They had never known kindness, had no idea how to walk on a leash, and were unsure how to simply be dogs.Since then, all of Luna’s companions have been adopted into loving homes—but Luna is still waiting.Luna has made incredible progress during her time with us. Though still shy around new people, she finds joy and comfort in the company of other dogs. In fact, Luna absolutely shines in playgroups and would thrive in a home with another playful pup who can help show her the ropes. She`s affectionate in her own quiet way and is deeply loyal to those she feels safe with—think of her as a gentle “cat-dog” who builds trust slowly but surely.Luna weighs around 45 lbs, is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and ready for a patient, loving home where she can continue to blossom. If you believe in second chances and the power of love to heal, Luna is ready to meet you.Children aged 10+ would be best due to her timid nature.

Story
Tito is a sweet and tenderhearted dog who is about 3 years old and weighs 37 pounds. We rescued him from a shelter near the border of Mexico. He had a collar that was never changed and he still has scars from that experience. He has been with us for a year and is now ready for his own home. He does have a short warm-up period when meeting new people. Once he knows you will be kind, he loves to get attention and affection. Coming from the environment he was in previously, it is apparent that he wasn’t handled very much so he just needs time to trust and know that he is in a safe space. He loves his caretakers at the rescue. He is a sweet dog and has a heart of gold! He gets along well with the other dogs at the rescue and would benefit from another dog in the home. He would do best in a calm and patient home without small children where he can acclimate to new surroundings and learn to trust. He is a wonderful dog who just wants a family to call his own! Tito is located at our rescue in Hondo, Texas. He is neutered, up to date on all shots, microchipped and his adoption fee is $325. If you would like to add this tender cutie to your family, please review our process and complete an application here - https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/adopt Learn more about our rescue here: https://www.facebook.com/TracysPawsRescue Services our dogs receive prior to adoption: Chagas Testing Heartworm and Tick Testing (age appropriate) All age-appropriate vaccines Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives Spay/neuter surgery Microchip *The breed(s) listed are guessed and based on the dog's physical appearance* Tito was treated for Chagas disease and has successfully completed his treatment. He is now Chagas negative! For more information, please review here: https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/chagas
