Story
Casper is 8 years old. He is a very well trained dog, obedient, a great runner, good on walks, house trained, loves to ride in cars and play fetch, and friendly. He is a very good watchdog, has a very deep, imposing bark, but has never bitten anyone. Being half pointer, he does have a strong prey drive, and has killed possums, rabbits, and ground hogs. I would not trust him with cats. He has always been rather high strung, intelligent, and alert. The problem has developed when my daughter went to college and Casper has become increasingly anxious when not physically close to a person. He gets crazy-frantic when he is in our large fenced in yard with the other dogs and hurts himself trying to escape and barks non-stop when he's on a tie-out. He would be perfectly happy if he could be constantly with a human being. He would be a good companion but does not want to be left alone. He is crate trained as well.
