Story
Oreo is a lab mix and we had rescued him from a human shelter back in 8/2023. He turned 1 back in February of this year (2024). Oreo is a sweet dog but he is very hyper and needs a big yard to run off said energy. When we had adopted him we were under the impression that he wouldn't get much bigger and currently he is around 65lbs. Since adopting him my wife and I have found out that we are expecting our third child later this year and unfortunately our house is just going to be to small for Oreo. In our house we also have two cats that Oreo got a long with just fine. He does the typical "nipping" that puppies/young dogs do, but NEVER anything aggressive. Around our two(2) children (5 YO & 2YO) Oreo loves to play with them. He does push his body around as I do not think he understands how big he actually is. With the right training Oreo has the potential to be a great dog. He is potty trained and crate trained.
