Updated: 12/01/2023 Dog Name: Paula Sex: Female Estimated Breed Mix: Labrador Retriever/ Mix Approximate Age: 5 months Approximate Weight: 25 lbs. Description: Paula here. I am a happy girl and being approximately 6 months old, I still have a puppy brain sometime. But, I am a pretty quick learner and try to do good. I really really like it when I am told I am a good girl. It makes me so happy. I love people and other dogs, however, cats are a no. I am crate trained and housebroken. I love to play with squeeky toys and bones and ropes. I especially love when that red dot shows up and moves across the floor. Even though I am really good at chasing it, I never seem to be able to catch it. I am never going to stop trying though. Maybe someday. I enjoy going outside and going for walks. There are so many things to see and oh so many smells. I wish I could run free and also play with another doggie friend. I am inquisitive and observant. When I am not playing or going for walks or looking out the window, I'll curl up on the couch and nap. If you are there, I will snuggle up with you. Oh yea, almost forgot, when it is time to eat, I sit and wait to be fed. Then I chow down. I take treats nicely. I would really like to meet you and be a part of your family. Adoption Fee: $475.00We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs by 6 months of age. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months of age, they will need to be spayed/neutered at one of our preferred clinics. This will be determined by your contract along with the month they should have their surgery. This is included in your adoption fee. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as PENDING, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. December 5, 2023, 11:42 am

Updated: 11/29/2023 Dog Name: Lindsay Sex: Female Estimated Breed Mix: Labrador Retriever/ Mix Approximate Age: 5 months Approximate Weight: 25 lbs. Description: Lindsay had a very rough start in life, her and her littermates were dumped and abandoned in the county at approximately 7 weeks old - no food, water or houses in sight! A wonderful person came across them while taking back roads home and took them to safety. We do not know how long they were out there alone, but we know they are survivors. They have been growing stronger and you would never know where these babies came from, Lindsay and her sister are so incredibly happy and give the best kisses. They love other dogs and kids, they just love to play! They are doing well with potty training and learning basic commands. These girls are constantly smiling! They deserve a life of love and compassion, they are hoping to find their forever homes in WI.
