If you are in the market for an adorable baby girl who has earned the title of “the best foster we’ve ever had” from her foster family…look no further than Aurora! This sweet girl is a wonderfully lovable labrador retriever mix of sorts who was born on 11/28/22, so is now 5.5 months old. She currently weighs-in right around 35lbs, so our best estimate is that she’ll be approximately 60-70lbs when fully-grown. Aurora is an absolute doll! She sleeps all night long on her dog bed without getting up and asking to go out (+ no accidents!). During the day-time she has also been a rockstar; Aurora was pulled from one of our partner shelters, so potty-training has been a fairly new adventure for her…but she does incredibly well when provided with a consistent schedule/routine. She has been an absolute peach with kennel-training as well! She goes in without hesitation, doesn’t complain about cuddling up in there for a nice snooze (whether her people are home or away), and — to her foster family’s knowledge — has yet to let out a bark or whine while crated. When it comes to kids…Aurora LOVES them! She has been around children of all ages, and we think her favorite thing ever would be to have at least one kiddo in her forever family to love up on! She’s truly been great with everyone/everything she’s had the chance to meet: people and animals alike! She loves other dogs (of all ages & sizes), and is playful + sweet with them. Aurora is also cat-friendly. She would be a fantastic candidate for any home/family situation, and will be the most amazing, loving, and loyal addition! This lovable lady is Luna, and she is in the market for a forever family she can call her own! Luna (female) is a 2.5 year old silver lab who found herself surrendered to us when her previous family was unable to provide her with the care and attention she needed. Luna has an issue with her thyroid that causes hair loss. After a few vet visits, she is now on daily maintenance medication and her thyroid levels have improved drastically! Her fur is slowly (but surely!) growing back, she’s much less itchy (to note – she has never been contagious!), and is now able to enjoy life to the fullest.  Luna is an absolute LOVE! She would spend all day, every day playing fetch, sniffing for (and chasing) squirrels and/or bunnies…followed by cuddling the night away.   More about Luna: She is INCREDIBLY affectionate (kisses, snuggles, love…you name it!)   Has a fun, playful personality A wonderful listener, is well-behaved + catches onto things/routine quickly Loves to show off her tricks & good manners! Very food/treat driven!   Fetch = her FAVORITE! 100% potty-trained () Crate-trained Love, love, LOVES car rides; is a phenomenal co-pilot and travels well! Is a fairly quiet girl: the only time she really barks is when she hears new sounds or people/dogs are walking past the house More about Luna’s ideal home: Must be the only dog (she becomes quite anxious and can be reactive in the presence of other dogs) It’s unknown how she’d do with cats, however she does chase squirrels and bunnies…so our guess is that she’d need a cat-free home Would love to have a fenced-in backyard; her leash skills are bit lacking (her family will need to continue to work with her on those!), so a large fenced yard so she can roam to her heart’s content would be amazing Is currently being fostered with 2 teenagers and loves them! She’s met kiddos as young as 9 and done great; children younger than that are an unknown. We think she’d love anyone who’s old enough to play fetch with her! Simply adores her people, so would love a home where her family/person is home more often than not. She does well being alone/crated for 4-6 hours, but then — of course! — requires plenty of love and attention when her humans return She is truly a sweet, beautiful, and lovable girl.
