Meet Kane — a tiny dog with a big personality and an even bigger heart! 🐾 Kane 2-year-old male Chihuahua • ~7 lbs Kane may only weigh about 7 pounds, but he’s full of character and loves being close to his person. If you’re looking for a loyal little companion who wants to stick by your side, Kane might be your guy. Kane is crate trained, leash trained, and potty trained. Like many small dogs, he may occasionally tinkle a little when he gets very excited or nervous, but he otherwise understands his potty routine well. He does great riding in the car and walks nicely on a leash. Kane enjoys playing with toys and also loves relaxing outside, happily sitting on the patio and enjoying the weather with his people. Kane gets along well with dogs his own size and calm, well-mannered larger dogs, and he can also do well with calm, respectful children who understand how to interact gently with a small dog. Because Kane bonds closely with his people, he can sometimes be a little possessive over food, toys, or his human. With clear boundaries and continued guidance, this is manageable and something his adopter should simply be aware of. Kane would do best in a home that understands small dog personalities and is ready to give him the structure and love he needs to thrive. If you’re looking for a tiny sidekick who will happily keep you company, Kane may be the perfect match. 🐾 Adoption Info: All of our animals are fully vetted, which includes spay/ neuter, up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested and treated if necessary, up to date on flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchipped prior to adoption. Our requirements are non-negotiable and include the following: All current pets in the home must be spayed or neutered if over 6 months of age, unless there is a documented medical exemption with veterinary confirmation. All current dogs must be up to date on Rabies and Distemper/Parvo (DHPP) vaccinations. All current dogs must be on consistent, consecutive heartworm prevention. Past dogs listed on the application must also show a consecutive history of heartworm prevention.
