Story
Harley is the sweetest most lovable little dog and would make an excellent pet for somebody who is home a lot and doesn't travel much and can give her all the love and attention that she needs and wants. She does bark a lot but other than that, she should make an excellent family pet. We just have one too many dogs and we travel too much for her liking. She does not do well when we leave her.

Hi! My puppy, Ebony is about 4 mos old and a typical puppy.... "Full of vim and vigor" .. as one would say. She is black with white with tuxedo type markings. She looks more Chihuahua than Terrier and not much like Dachshund like her sister. Ebony is very active and loves to play with her toys and chewers. And even more with her sister. She is very smart and I've been teaching her words and a few simple commands but hard to do when sister is around. She is potty trained on pee pads cause I haven't taken her outside yet with weather being too cold... But she tried hard not to make mistakes when going potty.. I do have to remind her cause she is a puppy. She and her sister are in an open top caged area to sleep in... similar to a semi-crate. She doesn't potty in her bed anymore and she " holds it" for several hours when sleeping. I've been teaching her some words and commands. She is eager to learn...Especially when using a "cookie".She is active but can settle down to sit calmly in lap

I found Nala while I was walking my dogs in my neighborhood on January 5th, and she followed us home. In the past, when I have come across a pet, I post them on NextDoor, and within hours, I am able to reunite with the owner. In this case, no one has claimed Nala yet. I have placed her on several platforms and placed a couple of fliers in the neighborhood. I found her with a red collar on Cedar and Shepherd near an area where construction was taking place, but she had no tags. She is very friendly and playful and gets along well with other dogs. She has lots of energy and is sweet. I simply cannot keep her, though, because I already have 3 older dogs, and starting over with a young pup is more than my husband can handle right now. We want to be able to either reunite Nala with her owners or find her a loving forever home. She has the most beautiful eyes, and loves to cuddle. I am working with a shelter to get her spayed, get her a rabies shot, and get her any other vaccines needed.
