Story
Papi is a gentle senior boy looking for his forever home. He recently lost his mom and has been navigating a big change — he was part of a household with two older chihuahua girls, and now he's ready to find someone special who can offer him comfort and stability during this new chapter. Papi isn't asking for much. He just wants a calm, predictable routine, a soft place by your side, and someone to shower him with love. Short walks, cozy naps, and lots of cuddles make him truly happy. This sweet boy craves attention and affection, and he gives it right back tenfold. What Papi offers in return is something special: a gentle, loving presence and a whole lifetime of love waiting to be shared with the right person. Seniors like Papi have so much love left to give — they just need someone to open their heart and home to them. Are you ready to love Papi? 💛

Story
Heidi is a mixed Chihuahua and Poodle mix. She just want to be in someone lap all day long. Got her from a rescue shelter when she was a year old. Heidi is looking to be someone's shadow / lap dog. Unless it time for the bathroom or a meal. She just want to be around someone all the time. Where ever they go she needs to keep an eye on you. She takes everything personnally. If there is any yelling or argument in the home, she thinks its her fault. She is potty trainned but will need to share the space a few time to know its save to go there. Helps if a radio or tv is on if home alone. She won't damage anything. Will be waiting at the door to welcome you back. She is up on all her shot. Is spayed. Chipped too. Like a mix of wet and dry food. Not much people food or she will yack it up. A home on the quiter side will be best for her. She is extremely shy and will take a few days to explore her new owner and home. She was my wife's dog, but is no longer with us. Does better around women.

Story
Meet Cassanova – A Happy Boy with a Soft Spot for Belly Rubs Cassanova has overcome so much, from learning to trust people to adjusting to life after losing a limb. Now, this happy, affectionate boy is discovering the joys of family life—and belly rubs are at the very top of his list! He may be a little shy when you first meet him, but gentle voices, slow approaches, and patience help him warm up. Once he feels comfortable, he loves following his people around and being part of whatever they’re doing. Talk to him in a happy, excited voice, and you might be rewarded with little spins and a joyful burst of energy. Cassanova has the sweetest ways of asking for affection. He’ll roll onto his back for belly rubs, raise a paw when he’s happy, or scoot closer and gently touch you with his paw if you stop petting him. His morning routine starts with a little conversation, a belly rub, and a paw shake before being carried outside to potty. He enjoys toys, exploring the yard, and relaxing in the sunshine. He also loves the company of his canine siblings. While he doesn’t usually join in their play, he happily follows them around and enjoys being near them. Cassanova would do best in a home without larger active dogs. Cassanova would thrive in a calmer home with plenty of reassurance, praise, and time to settle in. Loud noises can startle him, and he has not been around young children. His compatibility with cats is unknown. With only ten teeth remaining, Cassanova currently prefers wet food with a little chicken or cheese on top and enjoys eating in a quiet space. He isn’t interested in kibble, even softened, or hard treats. Eager to learn and always trying his best, Cassanova has so much love to share. Could you be the family to give him a lifetime of gentle encouragement, sunny afternoons, and all the belly rubs his heart desires?
