Story
Baily is an older lady, but that doesnt stop energy. She loves to play fetch and wants nothing more than to go for a run. She loves to be chased and play tug of war. We take her on two to three long walks outside of potty breaks. Baily may fit best with a single person as she is a shy dog that needs patience o warm up to a stranger. She wants to be the center of attention. And likewise wants to give all her attention to you, she very much enjoys cuddling with her person. I work with animals and I took her over to try and provide a new environment for her. But she has been unable to acclimate to my father as she is very nervous of men. With my dads serious health issues I feel the situation is not the best for either of them. She does best with women as she is wary of men. Shes prey driven and most likely will not do well with other small pets. She has tolerated some dogs, however didnt seem to engaged with getting to know them. But maybe if its the right person or persons

Story
Meet Honey & Bunny — two tiny sisters with one big heart, looking for a soft landing together. 💛🐾These 11-year-old dachshund/chihuahua mixes have spent their lives side by side, and they’re hoping their next chapter will be shared, too. They came to us after their devoted owner could no longer manage their care due to declining health. Being the sweet senior ladies they are, they needed a little “tune-up” before adoption—but they’ve done beautifully and are now feeling better than ever.Honey and Bunny are true companion dogs. They’re fully house trained (their previous owner shared that they’ll politely hold it all day), wonderful with people of all ages—including children—and their favorite activity is simply being loved. Couch cuddles, gentle attention, and warm laps are very much their style. They tend to prefer dogs closer to their own size and haven’t historically loved much larger dogs, but they do enjoy small dog friends and have lived peacefully with cats. Both girls recently had dentals and full bloodwork, and the only thing left on their wellness journey is shedding a few extra pounds so they can be their happiest, healthiest selves. If you’re looking to open your heart to a bonded pair of gentle, loving seniors who will repay you with endless devotion, Honey and Bunny are ready to settle into a calm, cozy home where they can be cherished—together, just as they’ve always been. 🐶🐶💕Requirements: Martingale CollarAll of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. Our adoption fee helps cover this cost.

Story
Meet Chewy: Chewy is a 1-year-old Chihuahua–Pug mix who was rescued from Texas in May of 2025. He is a small, sensitive soul who is still learning how to feel safe and understood in the world. Chewy is under-socialized with people and is also still learning how to walk comfortably on a leash. He is especially sensitive to anything going around his neck, which can feel scary for him right now. With time, patience, and gentle guidance, Chewy has the ability to make progress and grow more confident. He would do best in a quiet, low-stress household with someone who can move at his pace and be attentive to his needs. Chewy has a low energy level and would do well in an apartment or condo where life is calm and predictable. Chewy does well with other dogs, which can be comforting for him. He may show some barrier reactivity at windows, but this is not aggression—he is simply frustrated and hasn’t yet had the chance to fully learn how to handle those situations. Chewy is looking for a kind, understanding home that sees past his fears and is willing to help him feel safe. While his journey may take time, offering him patience and compassion could make all the difference in helping him discover a more confident, peaceful life.
