Story
Little Cali has been living in a house with a large number of dogs, and did not get the attention she deserves. She is shy at first and needs a little time to adjust but she responds wonderfully to a calm and loving person. She needs access to outside as she is housebroken but does not walk well on a leash. An all-adult home would be perfect for her. Foster to adopt available

Story
I was part of the PSL hoarding case and thankfully I am ready to start my new life! I can be a bit spicy in new situations, but am incredibly sweet once I warm up and would love to go to a patient home where I can soak up all your love! I do enjoy the company of women more, love a routine, car rides to the beach are my favorite!I am currently in a foster home, but if you are interested in me please contact our Office Staff to get more information on how to make me yours! All of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. Our adoption fee helps cover this cost.

Story
This little guy was found in pretty bad shape in a nursery in Miami. He was hit by a car and has multiple fractures. His front leg could not be saved and had to be amputated. He is doing well recovering. We believe he is about 8/9 years old. Full story from our volunteer. &#226&#172&#135&#239&#184&#143&#226&#172&#135&#239&#184&#143&#226&#172&#135&#239&#184&#143 Your at a large garden center looking around.  All of a sudden you see a small tan Chihuahua &#239&#191&#188sitting on a pile of dirty towels, shaking so badly.  You go talk to one of the employees to find out why he’s sitting there.  You find out that he was hit by a truck two and a half weeks ago.  When asked who’s dog it is and why no medical attention has been given. The answer is “it’s no one’s dog, he just roams around we just put him on the towels to make him comfortable “ So when someone tells you all this after they left the dog there.  Now what do you do? Do you tell her to go back and let the owner know “this poor guy needs medical attention”? Or do you tell her to ask the owner of the business if it’s okay to take him, even though you know you can’t afford to take care of him.  Well I’m sure you all know the answer.  Then when you get him you notice he can’t bend his front left leg or even put it down. Then you see him limping on his back left leg.  After a visit to the vet for X-rays and blood work.  You find out he has fractures on front and back legs, and that his front elbow joint is crushed.  It stays bent because for the two and a half weeks that’s the position the bone has started to fuse.  He also has a cornea inclusion on his left eye which does not effect him at all and his been seen by the eye specialist.   Naia's Pet Rescue (954) 947-PETS @naiaspetrescue  To become a Foster https://naiasrescue.org/foster-application &#226&#150&#170&#239&#184&#143All donations are tax deductible&#226&#150&#170&#239&#184&#143 • Venmo: @NAIAs-PetRescue • Paypal: Naiaspetrescue@gmail.com • Our website: https://naiasrescue.org/donate/ if interested in adopting, please apply at https://naiasrescue.org/adoption-application/  April 22, 2024, 12:17 am

Story
Meet Brownie, a small and incredibly sweet Chihuahua mixed breed with a heart that knows no bounds. Brownie's journey to Big Dog Ranch was made possible by the dedication of one of our rescue partners who recognized his potential for boundless affection. This young pup is not only friendly with other dogs but also quick to make human friends with his warm and loving disposition. While he's still honing his leash walking skills, Brownie's determination to learn is truly admirable, and he's showing great progress in potty training, especially when kept on a consistent schedule. Though he may be a bit of a picky eater, his charming personality more than makes up for it. Brownie's journey from rescue to our care highlights the transformative power of love and care. If you're in search of a small, loving companion who's eager to learn and grow with you, Brownie is ready to fill your life with joy. Come meet Brownie and experience the warmth of his tiny heart firsthand.
