Story
Buddy is a nine year old small/medium (28 lbs.) mixed breed dog with a heavy case of Chihuahua (31%). He looks and acts like an oversized Chihuahua. We had his DNA tested and Buddy shows zero genetic conditions and he is in good health. Buddy loves to go for long walks and he loves to play catch or tug of war with his toys but he is gentle and doesn't like rough housing. We rescued Buddy from a Humane Society shelter three years ago when he was six. He looks like an oversized Chihuahua and has a Chihuahua's nervous disposition. Over the last three years Buddy has been my best friend and he is a perfect companion for me. The problem is I have grand children who want to come over and Buddy is not good with little children, so we are afraid he might react poorly and someone might get hurt if we are not careful. I am hoping to find someone who would have the time to befriend Buddy and care for him like a companion rather than as a pet. He really is a good boy.

Story
We need to rehome our sweet boy, Kipper, ASAP. He’s a 2-year-old deer head chihuahua (13 lbs) we’ve had since 8 weeks old. Due to my recent diagnosis of another incurable illness, I can no longer meet his emotional needs the way he deserves. He wants to be with me 24/7, and I just can’t meet that need. Kipper is incredibly loving, smart, loyal, and VERY people-oriented. He knows multiple commands, is crate trained, potty trained, and healthy/vaccinated. He loves cuddling and being close to his person at all times. He would do best as an only dog or with a calm older/larger dog. He struggles with jealousy around other pets and can become reactive/jealous toward them when anxious. He must be crated when alone and fed separately due to resource guarding tendencies.FULLY potty trained, but comes with belly bands since he’s known to mark in new environments. He dislikes leashes, so a fenced yard is preferred. Rehoming fee is $50. Meet & greet/home check required. Must provide crate!

Story
Meet Samoa & Sequoia — the sweetest little duo you didn’t know you needed 💛🐾These two were found as strays, navigating the world side by side, and it didn’t take long for us to realize… their bond is something truly special.Samoa, a 2-year-old Pug mix, brings the playful energy, curiosity, and just the right amount of goofiness to the pair. Sequoia, a 10-year-old Chihuahua, is his steady counterpart — a gentle, wise little gentleman who prefers to take life at a slower, more thoughtful pace. Together, they balance each other perfectly. When they first arrived, both were understandably scared and unsure. But with time, patience, and a little love, their true personalities have blossomed beautifully. Samoa has become a happy, affectionate boy who looks to Sequoia for reassurance, while Sequoia has gained confidence with Samoa by his side, showing off his sweet and loyal nature. We did try to separate them initially to give them individual adoption opportunities—but it quickly became clear that wasn’t what they wanted. These two lean on each other for comfort, confidence, and companionship. Where one goes, the other follows. They’re a package deal in the best possible way. They’re now looking for a home that will embrace them both — a family who understands the beauty of their bond and is ready to welcome double the love, double the snuggles, and double the joy.If you’re looking for a pair that will fill your home with warmth, companionship, and quiet devotion (with a little playful spark sprinkled in), Samoa & Sequoia are ready for you!!Requirements: Martingale Collar; Bonded PairAll of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. Our adoption fee helps cover this cost.

Story
I am full time caregiver for my Dad. Rudy is my parents sweet baby. My mom spoiled him and she has passed away and my dad has Alzheimers. I can no longer care for both. Rudy loves everyone and needs a more active home. Dad keeps saying to put him to sleep. I hesitate because he is sweet but he does have allergies and is overweight due to being spoiled! I take him every month for his allergy shot but doesnt seem to help. I think he is depressed. Please find a fun acrive rehome!
