Story
Sammy is a sweet 7 year old chihuahua corgi mix and loves kids, cats and lots of attention. He has never really been around dogs so I can’t vouch for behavior towards dogs other than barking. He will snap at birds, so I highly recommend you do not have birds if you choose him.

Story
Bitty Bit is a young chihuahua mix with a gentle soul and a heart that just needs a little time to bloom. She’s very cautious around new people, but once she knows you're safe, she becomes your little shadow—always wanting to be near you and snuggled up close.Treats are the way to her heart (more so than toys), and she loves soaking up the sun while you garden or relax outside. She’s crate trained and will use a puppy pad by the door if left alone, but like many small dogs, long periods alone can lead to accidents. She’ll bark when she’s unsure or scared—but a few tasty treats usually win her over quickly.Bitty Bit will need a patient, understanding adopter and a securely fenced yard to help her feel safe as she adjusts. She also requires multiple meet-and-greets with her future family to form a bond before transitioning into a new home.If you’re willing to go slow and let her come out of her shell at her own pace, Bitty Bit will reward you with endless love, loyalty, and lap cuddles. She may be tiny, but the love she has to give is anything but!Requirements: Martingale Collar; Misfit (Multiple Meetings; Fence Requirement; Children 12yrs+)All of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. Our adoption fee helps cover this cost.

Story
Kirby and Kilo are a young, bonded pair looking for a home where they can stay together as lifelong best friends. These sweet “velcro dogs” are inseparable and happiest when side by side. Both are a little shy at first and may be cautious in new situations, but with patience and a calm environment, they quickly warm up and show just how loving and loyal they are. They’re partly housebroken and still working on potty training, so they’ll need a consistent routine. They know several basic commands, including “stay,” “sit,” “go,” “come,” “down,” and “peepot” (their old cue for bathroom breaks!).Kirby is the more active one—silly, sweet, and always up for a game of chase with his brother. He’ll shower you with licks and playful nibbles to get your attention. Kilo is the sensitive snuggler who loves to stand on his back legs to ask for cuddles and will happily push Kirby aside for extra love. He’s a fetch fan and a total softie once he trusts you.If you’re ready for double the love and double the loyalty, Kirby and Kilo are waiting for you. Requirements: Martingale CollarsAll of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. Story
Boomer is brand new to our rescue, so far he is an adorable and playful puppy. We think he is a Chiweenie and will grow to maybe 15-20lbs, but that is a guess. He is currently 7lbs and about 3mths old. He is very playful and loves toys. He will actually bring them back to you when you throw them. We will post more updates as we learn more about him. If you are interested in adopting Boomer, please complete an application: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FFRF/Dog
