Story
We have had Buddy since he was a puppy, he is now 10 1/2 years old. We have downsized, and are traveling a lot, so we feel, Buddy would be happier in a home where he didn’t have to go into boarding so much due to travel. Buddy likes to sleep, likes his walks, although when he’s on a leash, he is not friendly to other dogs. When off the leash he’s totally fine. The only problem with Buddy is that he occasionally urinates inside. He is completely potty trained and will let you know when he needs to go out. However, he is a small male dog, and they are at risk for marking. But that is the worst thing about buddy. Everything else is very good. He would do best in a home where he can snuggle on the lap of his owner in the morning and at night.

Story
Because of his past Archie will need some time to come around. He was in a shelter ready to be euthanized and is now with other dogs but will choose his friend in the bunch. He is 2 years old- 16LBS and very smart and would make a good agility dog and treat motivated. Crate trained- Little hand shy because he was probably abused. Never bit anyone. Plays with his Moe cow. Potty trained and doggie door trained. Loves his supper and treats. Doesn't need a dental. Teeth look great. Adoption fee is $50.00

Hi my name is Laslo. I am part of a group of dogs that ended up in an overcrowded rural animal shelter. Thankfully, Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue took us under their wing! I am a chihuahua mix, estimated at 2 yrs old and last weighed in at around 7 lbs.I am initially very shy when meeting new people, but become very friendly once I become better acquainted with you. The people here at the rescue have taught me to walk on leash- I love it! It’s so fun going on walks and seeing new sights and smelling new things! I have been friendly with other dogs here at the rescue and don’t even mind the cats I see on my walks. My favorite thing to do is cuddling/snuggling with you!My adoption fee is $375 and includes vet check, up to date vaccines, HW test (negative) deworming and monthly preventative treatment while at the rescue, microchip and neuter. If you are interested in adopting me, please complete a free, non-binding application at www.gofar.dog under Adopt. If you have questions, email my rescue at adoptions@gofar.dog. Story
Hey there, I’m Taco! I might be small at 10 pounds, but I’ve got a BIG story to tell! I’m a 4-year-old Chihuahua-Xolo mix looking for my forever human who understands that the best things in life take time. Here’s the real deal about me: I’m what you might call “cautiously optimistic” about new people. I know I seem super shy at first - I might even hide behind my favorite toy or retreat to my trusty crate. But here’s my secret… once I decide you’re MY person, I become the most loving, snuggly shadow you’ve ever had! I’m looking for someone special - a patient soul who won’t rush me but will let me bloom at my own pace. In return, I promise to show you what true loyalty looks like. I’ll play with ALL the toys, bring you endless entertainment with my puppy energy, and give you the sweetest cuddles once I trust you completely. I get along great with other dogs (they help me feel brave!) but I’d prefer a home without little humans - sometimes their quick movements make this pequeño guy a bit nervous. My ideal day? Playing with squeaky toys, hanging out with my dog friends, and slowly but surely stealing your heart one tail wag at a time. Could you be the patient, understanding human I’ve been waiting for? Let’s find out…complete an application through the FCCR website, www.floridacockerrescue.org. ADOPTION FEE: $300
