Story
We have had little (10lbs) Buddy since he was a puppy, he is now 10 1/2 years old. We have downsized, and are traveling a lot, so we feel, Buddy would be happier in a home where he didn’t have to go into boarding so much due to travel. Buddy likes to sleep, likes his walks, although when he’s on a leash, he is not friendly to other dogs. When off the leash he’s totally fine. He is potty trained and will let you know when he needs to go out. Buddy is a small male dog, and they are at risk for marking. Buddy is amazing with our baby and toddler grandkids - he gets very excited when they visit and is very sweet with them. He would do best in a home where he can snuggle on the lap of his owner in the morning and at night.

Story
Tiny 'ۢ Sweet Social Butterfly Brioche-lovingly called Brie-is a 10-month-old Chihuahua mix (possibly with a dachshund!) who was found and brought to the shelter. Her name may sound fancy, but once you see her golden, toasty coloring, it makes perfect sense-she looks just like a perfectly baked French brioche. This little girl is very social and absolutely adores other dogs-especially the playful pack she's currently with (LOL). Brie thrives on companionship and would do best in a home with another small, young dog who can keep up with her playful energy. A senior dog wouldn't be her ideal match-she's got too much puppy joy to share! Brie is: Friendly and affectionate- Dog-social and playful- Full of happy puppy energy- She does sleep inside the covers. If you're looking to add a sweet, sunny little soul to your pack-and already have (or are open to) another playful pup-Brioche might be your perfect match. She goes to the dog park everyday and loves it. Her adoption fee is $380. if you are a senior please consider a more mature dog.

Story
Because of his past Archie will need some time to come around. He was in a shelter ready to be euthanized and is now with other dogs but will choose his friend in the bunch. He is 2 years old- 16LBS and very smart and would make a good agility dog and treat motivated. Crate trained- Little hand shy because he was probably abused. Never bit anyone. Plays with his Moe cow. Potty trained and doggie door trained. Loves his supper and treats. Doesn't need a dental. Teeth look great. Adoption fee is $50.00

Story
We are not sure if Grady is Purebred- He is a little guy!! These are a few comments for his foster parent. Great little dog who loves boating by the way!!! "Grady is a one-year-old, 15-pound Chihuahua–Rat Terrier mix who almost didn’t make it out of the shelter. Labeled as “aggressive,” he was really just terrified. He spent days hiding and shaking in the corner of his kennel, especially when men walked by. Just before his time ran out, the volunteer community made a last-minute plea, and through the Give a Home, Share a Home program, a foster stepped up to save him. Once in his foster home, the “aggressive” dog disappeared. Grady showed zero aggression with the family or the three other dogs in the house. Instead, he revealed his true personality—housebroken, energetic, spunky, and incredibly smart. In under three days, he learned his new name and how to sit. He thrives with a little patience, kindness, and an active household that will give him the security he needs. He takes treats gently, isn’t food aggressive, and has quickly become the best snuggler in the house. Grady loves to play and would do great in a home with a medium-sized, active dog. He’s submissive in his pack but full of happy energy, and he’s already learning to be gentler during play. He walks well on a leash, isn’t bothered by bikes or strollers, and is learning not to bark at other dogs and people. He does well with off-leash introductions to friendly, social dogs. He is still a puppy so when we go out, we put him in a crate. He doesn’t chew on furniture and enjoys playing with toys. Grady loves sleeping with his foster family". Grady found his second chance—and now he’s ready to share his heart with a forever familyHis adoption fee is $200. He is fully vetted and neteured.

Story
Hi- I’m Luigi! My siblings and I were part of an unwanted litter. Thankfully, Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue took us and a provided all of the medical and general care we needed to be ready for our forever homes! We are estimated at 10 weeks old as of mid-February.Our breed is a little bit of a mystery. I look like a beagle mix, but my sister looks like a chiweenie and my brother looks like a very small lab mix- I guess we are what you call a “Heinz 57” dog- but we are 100% cute and adorable! The rescue thinks we will stay fairly small and be under 20lbs full grown- but that is just a guess based on what we look like now. We are very playful and energetic puppies- so looking for someone who is fairly active themselves. We have been friendly with other pups we have seen at the rescue; we don’t mind cats, but they don’t seem to like us very much as we always want to play around. My $550 adoption fee includes vet exam, up to date vaccines, deworming, microchip and neuter.
