Bambino is a 2-3 year old Chi who was surrendered to animal control because the owners decided they did not want him anymore.  Bambino can be a little standoffish when he first meets you (this is a common Chi trait).  Once he gets to know you, he is friendly and enjoys lap time.  The former owner had older children so we know he is accustomed to be around older children but we do not know how well he would do in a home with other pets.  He would need to be introduced slowly for sure.  He does know some commands.  He is up to date with shots, on heartworm prevention, neutered and housebroken.  All he needs now is a new forever home.  If you would like to adopt him, please submit an adoption application at www.myhstc.org Adoption fee is $85 and includes all veterinary care We pre-screen all applicants prior to a meeting.  To be screened, please submit an application at www.myhstc.org We do allow out of state adoptions; however, we do not ship nor transport sight unseen pets for a variety of reasons.  We require travel in person adoption. ##1846804##

Hello, I am a caring dog lover that no longer can make the commitment needed for my two beautiful spoiled Chihuahuas. I am now making the most difficult decision to donate them to another loving home. Choco Chip (6/5/21, 10lbs) and Cocoa Beans (12/14/21, 9.5lbs) (Chip & Beans) are purebred black & tan Chihuahua brothers born and sold by a breeder on an Ohio farm. They have social anxiety and are creating wonderful relationships at Bush Animal Clinic's day program M-F. They are healthy and happy and would do best with a single owner or someone with kids that love playtime. Chip absolutely loves the outdoors and playing with other dogs of all sizes, while Beans is an absolute protector. Meals: 1/2 cups 2xs daily (7A & 7P) Potty Breaks: 3xs daily (7A, 7P & 9-10P) Temperament: Social Anxiety, will snap if reach for by unfamiliar people, Beans will barks at other dogs, however can be re-directed. Sleeping Arrangement: Crate trained, however as will snuggle with me often.
