Story
Chase is a hilarious and energetic ChiBull mutt of some sort with an estimated birthdate of 12/13/2022. He came to the Mission during a medical crisis in which his family had run out of funds and options to care for him. If it's a disaster, it's probably happened to poor Chase in his first 10 months of life. He has had his leg broken, suffers from a neurological wobble of unknown origin, and barely scraped by when we received him and treated him for a very severe respiratory infection and pneumonia. Chase is also extremely unsocialized, having clearly missed the mark on experiencing the world through positive and predictable interactions with the stimulus around him and he can be very fearful when encountering new things.  Chase will be the kind of dog who needs a dedicated adopter who is not a push over and can set a clear path to success for him when it comes to socializing. There should be very little tolerance for reactivity and disproportionate responses to things that are not worth being afraid of, and there should be ample praise and reward for calmness and reasonable responses to the sights and sounds of the world.  At this time Chase still wobbles when he walks, and although we don't know the origin of the instability, we have seen remarkable improvement and expect he will maintain or continue to improve, however without a clear diagnosis, there is a possibility that future degeneration in stability is possible.  Chase has great potential as a companion in a quiet home or with someone who like a mild degree of adventure. He would be a good road trip and travel buddy, but he would also be satisfied to be a home body and just be your constant friend while the years pass by. Loyalty is hard to come by these days, but Chase is willing to be your reminder that there's still plenty to find when you look in the right places.  Chase comes neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. His adoption fee is $300 and includes a sample of the food he's been eating, a leash, collar, and ID tag. To be considered to adopt Chase, please visit www.murcismission.org and send in an application.  Thank you for checking out our boy! ##1824775##

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
From Genesis' foster Dad: Genesis is about 2 years old and came to me extremely fearful and shut down, but since then has really opened up to where she will wiggle her whole body and tail to greet me when I arrive home. She is still a tad bit shy of being approached, but does love her back being scratched and petted. Genesis loves my other dogs and is cat friendly. She loves to go outside and explore. She walks very well on leash and is not people reactive as long as they don't approach her. She has been as some small gatherings with me and does well in these settings. If interested Genesis is in foster care with another shelter dog who is also looking for a home; her name is Gretchen. They'd love to go home together. If you have questions or are interested in Genesis please reach out to her foster dad, Freddie, at 509-508-1094 or freddiebfurryfriends@gmail.com

Story
From Gretchen's Foster Dad: Gretchen is about 2 years old. She is very shy and fearful of people, but she is getting better day by day. She will hop up on the bed at night and lay down next to me. Once you are able to approach her she will allow you to pick her up and will hesitantly lay in your lap or arms. Again, she is getting better day by day. She absolutely loves my other dogs, both big and small. And she loves to engage in play with the small ones. She has no interest in cats. Gretchen will need someone who has the patience and will understand how to slowly help her gain trust with people. Gretchen must go home with another dog as she just wouldn't thrive being your only canine companion. If interested Gretchen is in foster care with another shelter dog named Genesis and they'd love to go home together. If you have questions or are interested in meeting Gretchen please reach out to her foster dad, Freddie at either 509-508-1094 or freddiebfurryfriends@gmail.com.

Story
Say hello to Helsinki! His litter was born on December 24, 2023. Momma was a 15 lb Chihuahua so he is expected to stay small. Denver is very sweet and playful. He loves playing with toys and his foster siblings. He also is doing great with his foster kitty sibling. He is patiently awaiting the chance to bring happiness and love to his future forever family. He is young enough to adjust to any family and any other pets. He exudes a sweetness and playfulness that is truly heartwarming. He is diligently working on his potty training. His playful antics never fail to bring a smile to our faces. Helsinki is being fostered in Scappoose, OR and is available for meet and greets with potential adopters. He has completed his puppy vaccines and is ready to go to his forever home. If you are interested in welcoming one of these precious puppies into your home, please visit our website for more information on the adoption process and to submit an application at www.springbranchrescue.org. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future from a city that has an animal crisis.  We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wondering our streets.  So many have been dumped and cannot find their way home.  Many never even had a home and were born on the streets.  WE gave them a chance.  Every animal deserves a chance.  If we are based in Houston, then how can you see our posts? We have fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. We do not have a physical shelter. All of our adoptable pets are living with local foster families which will make the transition into your household a whole lot easier.  We have been doing this since 2019 and very successful.   Please take a look at our adopters reviews https://greatnonprofits.org/org/spring-branch-rescue.   ##1961489##

Story
To adopt see our web site at spokanewienerdogs.org and find the form on our To Adopt page. Thanks. Max is a a three and a half year old boy according to his vet paperwork and not completely housebroke although we are working on crate training. He doing well there and he is starting to ask to go in and out. He is easy to train so he is getting it but Max will need housebreaking to be finished by his adopters. His last owner had medical issues and could not get him the training he needed but this charming boy is easy to train and a cuddly little guy. He came to us when his senior could no longer care for him. Max is sweet and shy so no kids in the home please as they would scare him. He is charming, funny and way more handsome than our shots of him. We are liking this guy a lot with being a Min Pin and chihuahua mix is our guess. We do require a fenced yard in town and no kids with this small boy. Thanks.
