Story
This is Icie, we think she is a chihuahua/min-pin mix. She is about 9 years old. She was originally a rescue. When we first rescued her, we did not have any kids or other pets. She was very playfully, happy and calm. We have noticed now, with young children, other dogs and a cat, that she is not her calm and happy self. We think she would be happier in a home with no young children (she loves teenagers) or other pets. She is very intelligent, sweet and playful. She learns tricks very quickly and enjoys being outdoors. Icie loves hiking, walks and camping. She is very athletic. Icie is house trained, uses a doggy door and has never had an accident in the house since we have owned her. She is well behaved in a house when we leave and has never chewed on anything. Icie loves laying in her bed, under a blanket or basking in the sun. She is trained to sleep in a dog bed at night. Loves to be cuddled and enjoys interacting with adults or older kids/teens.

Story
Century Egg is an adorable antique chihuahua that came to Murci's Mission from animal control. She has an estimated birthdate of 12/01/2011. If you only like to walk for 100 feet or less and then get right back to snuggling in a big blanky pile, then you've already got a great understanding of the inner thoughts of Cenni.  She's a single girl who has no teeth and eats a tablespoon of wet dog food twice a day. She can use potty pads or go potty outside. She likes car rides and she toots when you pick her up. She deserves the best golden months or years that she can have, and that should be a simple task for most animal lovers because she doesn't need too terribly much.  As of now, Century Egg just had bloodwork and dental, and everything looks quite good. She has no special medical needs at this time but would appreciate a hypoallergenic diet to reduce itchiness. She will likely develope additional medical complications as she ages, so please be prepared to take her for routine medical care.  Cenni comes spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed.  Her adoption fee is waived and includes her leash, collar, ID tag, harness, food sample, medical records, and a consult with a trainer should her adopter be inclined to take advantage of it. To be considered to adopt, please begin by visiting www.murcismission.org and sending in an application.  ##2597938##

Story
Adzuki is an adorable and socially talented little chihuahua mix with an estimated birthdate of 02/24/2025. He came to the Mission when his prior family was unable to care for him. Zuke has nice dog and cat skills and is fine with children. He is slightly shy but not flight and unnecessarily fearful. He is leash trained and still perfecting crate training. He is not potty trained and is starting from scratch because he's used to pottying indoors. He will need frequent trips outside with rewards for going in the right location. He rides great in the car and loves being carried around like a baby.  Adzuki comes neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed.  His adoption fee is $300 and includes a leash, collar, ID tag, food sample, medical records and consultation with a behaviorist to help everyone get off to a great start. To be considered to adopt, please begin by visiting www.murcismission.org and sending in an application.   ##2598318##

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
He will do best in an adults-only home. He can get a bit hyper-focused at times and may nip when he’s feeling overwhelmed, so a calm, kid-free environment is the best fit for him. He also has a strong urge to chase cars, so he’ll need someone who can keep him safe and supported outside.
