Story
Meet Molly new to Chihuahua rescue Crownpoint. Molly came from a hoarding case she’s learning new things every day. One thing we do know about Molly is that she is a little Velcro dog. She loves her foster mom wants to be with her everywhere she goes. there is a puppy in the plaster home and she will play with her, not sure about cats, but I think with her personality she would do fine with the cat other kids would be good. She is doing better each day on her house training if you’re interested in adding a lovable cuttable Chihuahua mix to your home please go to our website and fill out an application , Molly will be spayed on January 5. She’ll be ready to go after that. Chihuahuarescuein.org A home visit is mandatory so we asked that our applicants live within a short distance of Crownpoint

Story
Please read the entire description before applying.  These small-breed puppies, born on October 29, were surrendered to a shelter by a breeder due to an unexpected litter. They were then transferred to our rescue for proper care, socialization, and a fresh start. It is believed they are Chihuahua and Jack Russell, and because this breeder also has Dachshunds, it’s possible the litter may have two fathers, which is not uncommon in mixedbreed litters. Their variety of colors and markings certainly reflects that possibility — but what they all share is the same sweet, expressive faces and gentle, peopleoriented temperaments. They enjoy being loved and held. Some may be a bit shy at first, but none are fearful—just cautious until they warm up. They are raised in caring foster homes where they receive daily socialization and plenty of human interaction. Because of the cold weather, they have also been trained to use a litter box, which can make the first few days at home a little easier.  Adoptions are held in our foster homes. Each appointment requires coordination, preparation, and dedicated time from our volunteers, which is why we require a $50 deposit to place a temporary hold on a puppy until your adoption day. This helps prevent lastminute cancellations and ensures our foster families’ time is respected. The deposit is fully refundable if you meet the puppy and choose not to adopt. We do not offer separate meetandgreets for puppies because we do not have a public facility, and we are caring for many puppies at once. To help you choose, we provide videos. When you schedule an appointment, that visit serves as both your meetandgreet and your adoption day. If you decide not to adopt after meeting the puppy, your deposit will be refunded. Adoption Requirements:  A fencedin backyard suitable for a small dog (no invisible fences). If your condo or HOA does not allow fencing, we may consider your application on a casebycase basis. An adult who is home during the day and able to provide the time, supervision, and companionship a puppy needs.” No crating for puppies. Adopters must use a puppy playpen, which provides a safe, contained space with room to move and reduces stress. We will share recommended options once your application is approved. Children in the home must be 7 years or older. Younger children may be considered if they have grown up with a dog in the household. Homes with no dogs or a small dog will be considered (no multidog households). All puppies are vetchecked, vaccinated, dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and have received heartworm and flea preventatives. The adoption fee is $450. To adopt, please complete an online application on our website by clicking the "Adopt" button under the puppy's photo. www.indianasaveadog.com.    ##2626139##
