She can be reserved at first and would do best in a quiet home with someone kind, patient, and understanding who will let her settle in at her own pace. Once she feels safe, Cece shows her sweet side in the most endearing ways. We do recommend that Cece goes to a home without younger children. Cece has been working on potty training and is potty pad trained, but she will need a home willing to continue helping her learn and build confidence. With consistency and love, she’ll keep making progress.If you’re looking to open your heart to a senior pup who just needs a calm environment and a gentle human to call her own, Cece could be the perfect match.

She was kept caged and she’s now making the most of her second chance! She's now more easy going and looking for a loving family of her own. Zafira has been cat tested and passed with flying colors! Yes, we have a senior Chihuahua and yes, she is perfect! Frances (approximately 10 pounds) was transferred to the NHSPCA from a foster home in Texas. Her foster mama reports that tiny Frances is a BIG cuddle bug with a heart much bigger than her body. She is also a blanket weasel who will ensconce herself in fluffy blankets when given the chance - in fact, she adores sitting on your lap WHILE snuggled into a blanket. Like many small dogs, Frances can be skittish with people she doesn't know, and loud noises make her uncomfortable. Our perfect princess is potty trained AND crate trained, and she loves to go on short walks. After she poops & pees on her walks, her foster mama would pick her up & continue the walk while carrying Frances in a dog sling. Frances can be picky about her food - she seems to prefer Beneful Incredibites, but her foster mama could get her to eat most foods by sprinkling some cheese on top. Frances is a lovely, loving lady who cannot wait to have her own fur-ever person who will snuggle her endlessly - come meet her today!If you'd like to meet Frances and all her friends at the New Hampshire SPCA, please visit our Adoption Center during our open hours: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day except Wednesdays (closed).
