Story
DOB 1-8-2023 Chloe is a long hair Chihuahua that came to us from a breeder. Lucky girl got out of there and is now looking for her home. Chloe is very social, loves to play and gets along well with others. She is complete on medical, up to date, spayed, heartworm negative and her preventative is the ProHeart 6 infection. Chloe is around 10 or 11 pounds, has beautiful hair, all she wants now is her own family and home. Chloe does prefer people over other dogs so has no problem being the only queen in the house. Her adoption fee is 800.00, transport fee is 165.00 which is paid to our transport fee HEARTS. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Story
Roamin' is a sweet dog that loves to cuddle. He is anxious and has been having a hard time with our four year old who is loud and fast. We feel that Roamin' would be happier in a house with no kids whose owner can give him the attention he needs. We adopted Roamin' from a southern shelter when he 1.5-2 and he is 9 now. He has moved with us three times and has adjusted well to all of our moves. He likes walks though he does like to chase cars and he can be home for up to eight hours a day if his new adopter works out of the home. Roamin' would like a quiet house that doesn't have a lot of coming and going. We know that he would adjust well to a new situation because we have used the Rover App many times when we have gone out of town and each of his caregivers reported that they would take care of him again.
