Here comes princess Peaches! At 11lbs, this sweet little lady is in desperate need of home, more so than others. She just wants to be loved and held all the time, but her biggest issue is that she is people selective, and once she loves you, she`s fiercely loyal and lovable. Clever Peaches will let you know right away if she trusts you. Upon initial meeting her and picking her up, she may be very vocal before finally getting picked up. We think she may have had a traumatic past that causes her to react selectively to people. But once she`s comfortable with you, she`s an absolute love. Peaches just knows what works best for her, and we cannot wait until she finds her forever person who will give her that and more!(Peaches has what appears to be a heart arrhythmia that comes and goes with stress, as she is a Parvo survivor! Houdini must be a magician, because he has us all hypnotized! At 11lbs, Houdini is one magical little lapdog! He`s very good natured, and has the funniest bark. Houdini is hearing impaired (may be why he has a funny bark and grumble!) He also lives up to his name because he is a great escape artist! He can easily climb a gate or fence, so he needs a home with a very secure yard that has no areas he can climb up. Houdini is NOT a fan of being kenneled or crated, and will be VERY vocal about it! Houdini is great with other dogs his temperament. If you have another dog, we recommend bringing them along to meet. You better adopt this marvelous boy before he [POOF!] disappears! (Houdini has a hearing impairment in his left-ear that may affect his daily life. He also has a palpable growth on his lower jaw, that doesn`t appear to bother him. Sweetheart most definitely lives up to his name! At 9.5lbs, Sweetheart is a scruffy, smart, sweet little boy who can be a little shy when he first meets someone. And when he DOES feel comfortable with you, he sometimes speaks with his mouth, with playful nibbles, so we think a home without any young children would be best for him. He does like to be with the other dogs here, because he loves to be playful, so if you have another dog, we recommend bringing them along to meet! He`s slowly learned to trust humans, because when we first got him, it was clear that he was terrified of people at too young of an age. But all Sweetheart needed was time, patience and understanding, and now he`s a playful, loving boy. And if you give him the time and love he needs, Sweetheart will make the greatest little companion in his forever home. Bugsy is our chubby little chihuahua mob boss! And his only real crime is being TOO handsome! Bugsy is around 10lbs, but he definitely needs to lose some weight. He loves to be your little chocolate brown shadow, and also loves to give stinky kisses any chance he can! He does well with other dogs his temperament, so if you have another dog, we recommend bringing them along to meet. But we suspect Bugsy would be happy as an only dog, so long as he gets a LOT of attention! Although Bugsy is a work in progress, we think he`s perfect just the way he is, and we hope he can start the next chapter in his life in a home with a lot of love and a lot of lap-time!
