Sweetness got her name because when she loves you she loves you with her whole heart. When I hold her she presses into me and looks up with so much love. She was rescued, along with two others, by SusieQ from a hoarding case. All three dogs from there are not dog friendly but love their people which makes me think she had to fight for everything she got. When Sweetness was rescued she was bone thin, missing most of her fur and had a damaged, infected eye. Since then she has been fully vetted, spayed and had her eye removed. I love this dog so much and only want the best for her. I would keep her for my own but with all the dogs coming and going she is getting more and more stressed. She is afraid of my husband so I think she would make a wonderful ladies companion. Sweetness uses puppy pads but will also go out with me in the fenced in yard to go potty. I have not tried leash walking her. She had a dental last week so her teeth are bright and shiny. She loves to sleep in bed with me and cuddle under the covers. JoJo is a little sweetheart. He has been in foster care for a month now and has finally came out of his shell and has started playing with his furry siblings. JoJo enjoys nice fluffly blankets and you can usually find him snoozing on a pile of them. The only time that he is vocal is when he wants his breakfast, dinner or a treat. He is 95% housebroken and sometimes will give a little bark when he wants to go out. On nice days, he enjoys checking out the yard and doing some subathing. JoJo is used to having a fenced in yard, but would do well without one as long as someone is willing to take him out to enjoy nature and take him on little walks. The Kramer family has chosen to sponsor the costs of transport and medical care for the 17 Walworth dogs as a Christmas gift in honor of all our fur babies we have lost over the years and all my friends' fur babies that have also crossed the Rainbow Bridge - none will ever be forgotten.  Our Christmas wish is that each of the Walworth-furred ones find loving homes where they are cherished. Merry Christmas sweet Pups!  Love, Cheryl, Dave, Ryan, and Cassie Kramer   Benny was born around August 1, 2020, and weighs about 12 pounds.  Joyful received a message asking for help in the Rochester area with a home that had 30 dogs.   The humans started taking in dogs that no one wanted and after a few years, they became overwhelmed and asked for help.    These dogs came from a situation where it didn't matter where they went potty so please understand you will have some work to do on house training and we often suggest potty pads for tiny dogs with tiny bladders.  Benny is very fearful at first and if pushed far enough will nip.  No children in his next home. Once Benny trusts you he is putty in your hands and just the sweetest boy! Benny rides well in the car and walks fine on a leash.   The Adoption Fee for this dog is $500.00 Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a 'complete' pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY.    Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility. CROSSPOSTING for another rescue group Meet Mister! This is my new foster boy, Mister. I am fostering him for Tall Tails Rescue and Transport. He’s about 2 years old and when you look up “Velcro dog” in the dictionary, you see his picture. He’s a combination of sweet and silly. He gets along just fine with other little dogs and was uninterested in the cat. His favorite obsessions include: 1. Stealing foster moms shoes. Not chewing them, just moving them to a new location. 2. Scaling walls and jumping leaps and bounds to get to his human. (Again, not destructive, he just has a touch of the Single White Female gene. Obsess much?) 3. Chewing his bully stick. 4. Taste testing every single bowl of food, just a nibble. He’s making sure it’s safe to eat. Mister also appears to be housebroken. He has not peed or pooped or attempted to mark in my home. He is a chihuahua mixed with kangaroo. He would love someone to share EVERYTHING with. If you’re doin it, so is he!
