This bonded pair of Yorkie mixes (Chorkies), male and female, have been together since they were born (NOT recommended by this or most any other rescue, by the way!) and their owner could no longer care for them. They are friendly with each other and people and are doing great with the other dogs in their foster homes. They are not good with cats. They're outside and pee pad trained, according to the previous owner, and the male is neutered. We are getting the female in at our vet for spay and microchip, and for both of them to get up to date on all vaccines. The adoption fee of $600 is for both dogs and they're both about 12 lbs and 6 years old. (the updated pics are after they got their face trimmed up and groomed a bit, which was needed! They'll be back to cuter in no time!) 👉 Adoption fee INCLUDES: all vetting to age (including deworming, flea & tick etc), spay/neuter and microchip (if the dog is under 6 months, alter and chip will occur after they're 6 months, covered in full at our clinic or reimbursed partially at a vet of your choosing). If the dog is older than 6 months and not yet altered, we will schedule ASAP (normally within 30 days) at our clinic . We also provide as an incentive a $60 rebate for completion of positive-based training classes. We are not a shelter and are completely volunteer foster-based, so there is no central place to come see all of the dogs available. 📌IMPORTANT NOTES: ** Housetraining with rescues is sometimes a work in progress and even if a dog is 100% in a foster's home, it should be expected there will be an adjustment period as a dog adapts to a new environment. This is even more true if the dog has not by chance had their altering appointment at time of adoption. ** Also, we highly recommend some form of 2-week shutdown and decompression for dogs going to a new home for best results. --> Lastly, breed guesses in rescue are just that (GUESSES!!) 99.9% of the time. We do not do DNA testing and our breed guesses are based on appearance and sometimes other traits, but we know the dog breed guessing game is a fool's errand even for those with LOTS of experience. 🗺 ADOPTION AREA: several hour radius of Rochester, NY (Canada within 3 hours IS allowed, except that young puppies need to be old enough to have gotten their rabies vaccination to cross the border - usually around 16 weeks)

Basement Puppy - Cocoa Hello there! My name is Cocoa and I am the smallest one of my litter of 5 puppies who were born under a house. It was nice and cozy for a while, but then we got rescued at 5 weeks and came to our foster mom. Our mom was a little 13 pound chihuahua looking mama dog. Mom was a wild child so we came to the rescue to learn to love people and have a home so we don’t have to walk on the wild side. We love being with our foster mom and playing with the different dogs at the house. One thing you should know is that I can walk through puppy gates as I am that small. So I regularly leave the puppy room and go to the back to see the chihuahua named Busy Boots and the poodles who hang out there. It is fun! Some of us look like perhaps mom or even dad had some pug in them, as we have some of the coloring or the shorter mugs of a pug. But all of us are 100% adorable! I favor the chihuahua side I think. I will be on the small side, depending on what genetic size my rambler dad brought, but I should be under 15-20 pounds fully grown. I get my baby making bits removed on January 5, 2026 and then will be able to go to my forever home. Will that be with you? Basement Puppy - Dasher I am the smallest of the boys in this litter of 5 puppies. We were born under a house, not really in a basement, but it was cozy and warm and we grew into loveable puppies! Anyhow, mom was a wild child so we came to the rescue to learn to love people and have a home so we don’t have to walk on the wild side. It is too scary out there to be by yourself when you are little like me! Some of us look like perhaps mom or even dad had some pug in them, as we have some of the coloring or the shorter mugs of a pug. But all of us are 100% adorable! Personally, I don’t know if I have the pug look or not. What do you think? Do I look like a puggy puppy to you? I will be about 15 pounds fully grown as I am just 3#3oz right now, so I shouldn’t be bigger than that. And I am very cute so that will not change as I grow up either! Hello from Texas! We are a bonded pair of 3-year-old Chihuahua mix brothers named Wren (12 lbs) and Magic (13 lbs), and we are looking for a forever home. We were found as puppies in the Rio Grande Valley, taken in by a man who has been helping all the stray dogs in his little city of San Juan. He wanted to keep us, but due to so many dogs and so little time to spend with us, he eventually reached out to 4 Little Paws Rescue for help. These days, we are living in a foster home outside San Antonio, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to find our future together somewhere in the Eastern states. First and foremost, we are sweet and loving boys, shy at first when meeting new people, but adjusting well, and doing much better when meeting people, especially if you have a dog treat in your hand, LOL! We are total foodies, and a couple of sweethearts who will follow you from room to room and snuggle beside you whenever possible. We are great with other dogs and co-exist nicely, and are now being playful and enjoying playtime with a similarly sized resident dog, but overall, our hearts belong to people! We are both well-behaved, rarely bark, and are housebroken. We will cry when parted from each other, but do well at home, free range with the resident dogs while the humans are away. At bedtime, we will either be snuggled beside you in bed or be perfectly happy sleeping together in a crate with the crate door open. Howdy from Texas! We are 2 cute little female Chihuahua mix puppies, Mila and Maizie, born on 9/20/25. Now that we are 3 months old, we are ready to find forever families. Our mama, Melody, is a pretty little 10 lb Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix (see her picture), and based on our body shape, our Dad may have been a Dachshund. We were just a couple of days old when we were all picked up by the San Antonio City “kill” Shelter, but thankfully, we were rescued right away and have been in a foster home ever since. I’m Maizie, and I weigh 6.5 lbs. I’m more outgoing than my sister, and oh so sweet! Both of us are very affectionate, curious about everything, have gobs of energy, and love to play with each other and our mama. We are not really into doggy toys or treats yet, but into snuggles and kisses, and being loved on.
