Suzy Q is looking for her forever family after being rescued from a neglectful situation in Rochester, where she was kept crated outside for weeks. She was described as a “service dog” — we assure you, she wasn’t. But you’d never know her past by meeting her. Suzy Q is full of joy, personality, and affection. She's playful, curious, and always ready to snuggle. She loves toys, walks, and especially burrowing into blankets for naps. She’s friendly with everyone she meets and just wants to be where her people are. House trained Crate trained Great with all people Living happily with dogs from 5–90lbs While she lives well with a pack, Suzy Q is very people-focused and would do just fine as your one-and-only furry best friend. Let us introduce you to 3 year old Clementine, or as her foster calls her, Emi. Emi has an incredible ability to win everyone over and her foster says “I preferred larger dogs until I met Emi”. Her favorite things are going on walks, giving kisses, and being on your lap at all times. If she can’t be in your lap, under a blanket or on a heating pad is also acceptable. She does the cutest dance when you come home and her crooked little toothy smile makes all those around her smile with her. Emi is currently living with other dogs, cats, kittens, and even a free-roaming rabbit, and gets along well with them (other than the occasional argument over who gets lap time). Emi is such a good all-around dog and her new family will be so lucky to add her to their family. Clementine was surrendered to us pregnant and with 5 other dogs (one of which was her 5-6 month old puppy), she was flea infested and thin… now shes healthy, happy, and awaiting her spay appointment (that will happen before shes officially adopted). Despite her rough beginning in a hoarding situation, and her fearful nature, Cherry has proven to be a loving and affectionate companion who enjoys snuggles, pets and attention from her human. She’s dog and cat friendly and would do well in a quiet home with a low key canine companion. In addition, she’s potty trained, non destructive and enjoys sleeping in her dog bed, on your lap or beside you, or snuggled up in bed with her human at night. Cherry’s best match would be in a home with a fenced in secure yard. Cherry requires an adopter that is able and willing to give her the time and patience she will need to overcome her fear of new humans, trust her adopter and adjust to new surroundings.
