🐾 Zero — The Hug-Powered Hero Zero might only weigh 25 pounds, but he’s running pure main-character energy. This scrappy Chi-Terrier mix grew up on the tough streets of SoCal, dodging trouble and charming snacks out of strangers. These days, he’s traded back-alley hustle for hero duty — keeping watch, calling out suspicious noises, and making sure his person always knows when something’s up. But when the coast is clear? That’s when Zero unleashes his real superpower — the full-body hug. He leans in with everything he’s got, melting right into you until the world disappears. Then, just when your heart can’t take any more sweetness, he flips over and offers his belly like a tiny furry trust fall. Zero’s the perfect blend of alert dog and emotional support specialist: part security system, part therapy blanket. He’s loyal, funny, and always game for a snack break after patrol. Special Skills: 💞 Hug attack (melts humans instantly) 🔊 Early-warning bark system 🐾 Expert belly-rub receiver 🦴 Snack detection radar Zero’s ready to find his hero — someone who appreciates enthusiasm, loyalty, and the power of one perfectly timed hug.

Story
Hi, I`m Jackson! I`m about 8 years old and weigh 12 pounds. I have a medical release that staff will discuss with you further.** I still need to receive a dental cleaning so when my forever family decides to adopt me, I will be placed on hold. Then you can come pick me up after my surgery. **Do you like...Dogs? I`ve lived with another small dog before. Please bring all dogs in the home to meet.Cats? Unknown. Slow, supervised introductions would help set us up for success.Kids? I`d like to live with kiddos old enough to be gentle with me. 10+I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. I have no known history. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption. My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! I`m looking for my forever home and it could be with you!ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. You will get to choose between a one year, two year, or three year license. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Blossom 1 year, spayed female, 19 lbs Corgi/Chihuahua mix (best guesss) LIKES: Blossom loves following her people around, chewing on her toys, playing with her foster dog siblings (specifically the older cattle dog/pit mix), snuggling, and burrowing under blankies. She likes to give the 7 and 12 year old kiddos in her foster house kisses. DISLIKES: Being picked up, new experiences/people, and riding in the car can be triggering to Blossom’s anxiety. Blossom will need a patient hand to continue gently introducing her to the “scary” situations in her life. PERSONALITY TRAITS: Miss Blossom is such a friendly and cuddly pup! She is in love with her cattle dog/pittie mix foster sister and will pester her with friendship and kisses until she plays with her. One unique thing about Blossom is that she doesn’t really bark, but instead “chirp-barks.” POTTY TRAINING STATUS: Blossom is potty trained with occasional accidents if it’s cold or rainy outside. Blossom is a bit of a nervous piddler and experiences like meeting new friends or being picked up may be best either outside or on a hard floor that can be quickly wiped. CRATE TRAINING STATUS: Zero star rating from Blossom. She eats her meals in her kennel but doesn’t like to be locked in it. OTHER/MISC: Blossom is a 5 star climber and chewer, so a sturdy plastic kennel is needed instead of a wire one as she will chew any wire/wood to get out. She is also a fantastic bouncer and can hop right over baby gates with ease. Blossom will need a home with another playful dog to help build her confidence and use up some of her playful energy. To further inquire about BLOSSOM, submit an application. Tell us about yourself, family, other pets, and how BLOSSOM will mesh with your lifestyle. Qualifying applicants will be contacted by our Adoption Coordinator with next steps and an opportunity to set up a Meet & Greet. Our process is NOT a “first come, first served” process. (We DO NOT hold pets for later consideration.) Our team carefully reviews and interviews applicants for the best possible fit for each adoptable pet, and potential family. Submitting an application does not guarantee a call or response from our rescue. Our volunteers will screen the applications and reach out if it is determined to be a good fit. We look forward to facilitating a positive and solid adoption for BLOSSOM, as well as her future family. *Fostered in Eugene/Springfield, OR ADOPTION APP: https://wigglytails.org/adoption-application/ ‍ ##2681915##

Story
Penelope 3 years, spayed female, 19 lbs Chug mix Looking for an energetic furry friend with Yoda ears and an underbite? Penelope fits the bill! This happy girl is ready to accompany you on all of life’s adventures. Likes and Hobbies: She’s happy doing anything you’re doing! She’s a curious, confident, playful, adventurous, very trainable companion. She enjoys anything active, she’s got lots of energy! She would appreciate a dog sibling who isn’t afraid to play, run, and play some more. She likes car rides and does great on walks. She loves toys, warm laps, and especially food! Ideal Home Must-Haves: Penelope needs a patient new family willing to do further training to help her learn good manners. Her “stranger danger” instincts are on-point, she will bark at new people and needs slow introductions. She is very food motivated and eager to please, and responds well to re-direction. She is good around older dog-savvy kids, but untested with cats. After she knows you, before you know it she’s your new velcro bestie. The Lowdown: Penelope is potty trained in her foster home, but may need to re-adjust when in new surroundings. She very quickly learned to use a doggie door. She sleeps all night in her crate after a few minutes of initial protest. Despite the short legs, Penelope is an olympic-level high jumper, and can jump out of x-pens and over kiddie gates without even touching them! Penelope is available for private meet and greets after adoption applications are approved. To further inquire about PENELOPE, submit an application. Meet Cannoli: The Sweet, Gentle Soul Looking for Her Safe HavenBreed: French Bulldog Mix (Our best guess!)Age: 3 years oldSpecial Talents: Blanket-burrowing, executing a flawless "welcome home" dance, and sunbathing like a pro.Superpower: Having zero "fight" in her - Cannoli is 100% gentle, through and through.Cannoli has been a cherished part of the Wiggly Tails family for 11 months. When she first arrived, she was deeply shut down and untrusting. But over time, with the patience of some incredible foster homes, Cannoli has bloomed. She's had a big year, she even underwent surgery for double luxating patellas. Now that she's healed and pain-free, her lively, confident side is finally shining through!Because of her past, Cannoli is very timid and sensitive. Loud noises and fast movements will send her looking for cover. But once she knows you're safe? You get to see the real Cannoli:The Happy Dance: When you wake up, come home, or even just step out of the bathroom, Cannoli will greet you with an adorable little excitement dance and sweet kisses. The Sassy Side: Her former foster reports that if breakfast or dinner is late, Miss Cannoli isn't afraid to give you a little sassy look to speed up the service. The Comfort Zone: Sitting people are much less scary to her. She loves to curl up under blankets, chew on her toys, and bake herself in a nice patch of sunlight.Cannoli's Wishlist (The Essential Requirements)Cannoli is a special rescue dog who needs a very specific environment to continue her beautiful progress:An Adult-Only, Quiet Home: No kids, no chaotic schedules. She needs a gentle, predictable environment.A Securely Fenced Yard: Crucial for her safety, as her natural instinct when scared is to shrink or flee.A Doggy Companion: This is a must! Cannoli needs a dog companion around her own size (like her buddy Reggie!) to play with, cuddle with, and help her feel brave. She likes dogs of all sizes, but she truly thrives with a similarly sized friend to copy.Patience & Commitment: She currently takes daily anti-anxiety medication to help her navigate the world (which she may be able to step down from once she is fully settled in her forever home). Her adopter needs to understand the slow, rewarding journey of a rescue dog.The ChecklistPotty Training: A+ She is a doggy door pro! She will potty outside every time and has officially mastered the dog door in her foster home. The Crate: A+ Cannoli loves her crate. It is her ultimate safe zone where she goes to relax and decompress.Other Animals: A Great with cats and wonderful with other dogs. The Perfect Match? To further inquire about CANNOLI, submit an application.https://wigglytails.org/adoption-application/Tell us about yourself, family, other pets, and how CANNOLI will mesh with your lifestyle.
