You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  Meet sweet Miss Edna Mae! Edna Mae is a 7-year-old Chihuahua with a beautiful tan coat who weighs just 5 pounds. As a senior pup, she would thrive in a loving adult home where someone can give her the attention and gentle care she deserves. Edna is a good eater, very curious about people, and wonderfully loving. She would make a wonderful companion, especially for a senior looking for a loyal little friend. She does need eye drops twice a day, but otherwise requires no medications. Edna Mae is up to date on her vaccines and is microchip. She is ready to find a loving home where she can enjoy her golden years surrounded by companionship and care. ❤️Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 17, 2026, 12:17 am

Story
🐾 Zero — The Hug-Powered Hero Zero might only weigh 25 pounds, but he’s running pure main-character energy. This scrappy Chi-Terrier mix grew up on the tough streets of SoCal, dodging trouble and charming snacks out of strangers. These days, he’s traded back-alley hustle for hero duty — keeping watch, calling out suspicious noises, and making sure his person always knows when something’s up. But when the coast is clear? That’s when Zero unleashes his real superpower — the full-body hug. He leans in with everything he’s got, melting right into you until the world disappears. Then, just when your heart can’t take any more sweetness, he flips over and offers his belly like a tiny furry trust fall. Zero’s the perfect blend of alert dog and emotional support specialist: part security system, part therapy blanket. He’s loyal, funny, and always game for a snack break after patrol. Special Skills: 💞 Hug attack (melts humans instantly) 🔊 Early-warning bark system 🐾 Expert belly-rub receiver 🦴 Snack detection radar Zero’s ready to find his hero — someone who appreciates enthusiasm, loyalty, and the power of one perfectly timed hug.

Story
Sounder was found on 9/17/2026 at 10th and Centennial BLVD in Springfield. He came into the shelter already neutered. If you believe this is your missing dog, please contact the shelter at (541) 689-1503. Since this dog is new to the shelter and we are still looking for their family, they are not viewable on the adoption floor at this time. The shelter staff is giving me some time to settle in and adjust to this new place. As we get to know each other a little better, the behavior team and veterinary staff will then be evaluating my needs. Please stay tuned for my updated information! Our shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs can be unreliable and for most dogs we are only guessing at their primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road, Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. Story
Norman1.5 y neutered male 24 lbShepahuahua Norman's story begins with a FREE PUPPIES sign on the back of a truck at a swap meet in Hanford, CA. A good Samaritan scooped him up, put him on a transport, and transferred him into foster at Wiggly Tails. Norman was adopted at the age of 4 months by a kind woman who he loved very much. They became very bonded to each other and lived happily together. A year later, however, she died suddenly and Norman found himself all alone in their apartment. His original foster came to get the terrified dog and bring him home. There, he was able to decompress and recover from his loss. As Norman lived with only one person, he wasn't well socialized as a puppy. He can get quite nervous with new people. Once he knows you however, he will be your bestest friend for life. He will want to sleep with you, snuggle with you, and be carried like a toddler. He is a true velcro baby. Due to Norman's need for slow introductions, we are willing to allow him to be fostered for a short time to settle in before an adoption decision has to be made. We would supply you with his personal items, and you'd let us know how it was coming along - just like he would be in his current foster home. We're confident he'll come around and do well if someone is just willing to be patient and give him a chance. (His foster home just absolutely adores him and he's very affectionate with them.) Norman is crate trained and has not had any accidents in the house. He is still pretty nervous on leash, but he rides in the car well. He loves other dogs and is respectful of cats. Small children are not recommended as they can be scary. A fenced backyard is a must for Norman. To further inquire about NORMAN, submit an application. ADOPTION APP: https://www.wigglytails.org/adoption-application Tell us about yourself, family, other pets, and how NORMAN will mesh with your lifestyle. Qualifying applicants will be contacted by our Adoption Coordinator with next steps and an opportunity to set up a Meet & Greet. Our process is NOT a “first come, first served” process. (We DO NOT hold pets for later consideration.) Our team carefully reviews and interviews applicants for the best possible fit for each adoptable pet, and potential family. Submitting an application does not guarantee a call or response from our rescue. Our volunteers will screen the applications and reach out if it is determined to be a good fit. We look forward to facilitating a positive and solid foster-to-adopt agreement for NORMAN, as well as her future family. *Fostered in Eugene/Springfield, OR ADOPTION APP: https://www.wigglytails.org/adoption-application ##2299176##

Story
Gomez 1 year, neutered male, 10 lb Chihuahua mix LIKES: Blankets, spooning, TOUCHING HIS PERSON AT ALL TIMES, food, driving around in the car as the copilot. DISLIKES: Being alone, finding himself in strange places, rain & cold. PERSONALITY TRAITS: Gomez is the ultimate Velcro baby. He loves to be carried around and to snuggle super close in bed. His foster mom even puts him in a Moby to do chores. Gomez gives the sweetest little kisses and he's so soft to pet. He'll gladly roll over for belly rubs or snuggle into your neck once he knows you! POTTY TRAINING STATUS: Potty trained. CRATE TRAINING STATUS: Crate trained, although he will fuss if he's in there while you're sitting nearby. EXTRAS/MISC.:  Gomez is prone to a bit of panic when he's in a new house, and for that reason we will require his new home to be secure. This means solid fences, no escape routes, and crating when he's alone. He quickly gets over this as he attaches to his new family, but we just need to make sure he's safe until he gets there. We'd also like his new home to be within the main Eugene/Springfield metro area so that his foster can get there quickly if anything happens. To further inquire about GOMEZ, submit an application. https://wigglytails.org/adoption-application/ Tell us about yourself, family, other pets, and how GOMEZ will mesh with your lifestyle.
