Story
Burrito was found on 1/18/26 at the 900 block of Cloverleaf Loop in Springfield. He came into the shelter already neutered. If you believe this is your missing dog, please contact the shelter at (541) 689-1503. Since this dog is new to the shelter and we are still looking for their family, they are not viewable on the adoption floor at this time. The shelter staff is giving me some time to settle in and adjust to this new place. As we get to know each other a little better, the behavior team and veterinary staff will then be evaluating my needs. Please stay tuned for my updated information! Our shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs can be unreliable and for most dogs we are only guessing at their primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road, Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. See all of the pets at this shelter by visiting www.green-hill.org.

Story
Meet LITTLE RICHARD! Gender: Male Weight: 15 lbs. Age: 1 yr. old Breed: Chiweenie (Chihuahua/Dachshund) Energy level: Medium Master skill: Cuddling! Richard is a dog who will thrive with a person who wants to teach him all the fun life has to offer! He is a food motivated, young dog who is learning quickly. Here are some things Little Richard wants you to know about him: • I love my dog crate. • I need a secure yard. • I would be happy to play in my yard for daily exercise. • I am good on leash but I’m still learning about passing cars, bikes, and loud neighborhood noises. • I like rides in the car - where ever my people are is where I want to be! • I am housetrained but need to be let out regularly. • I could be an only dog or live with an easy-going dog. • I was found with a bigger dog and seem to like big dogs best. • I love people, but it takes a few minutes to warm up to new people. • I LOVE to play with stuffies. Richard is looking for a home: • That is patient as he settles in. • With someone who wants a dog they can teach. • With someone that likes a little Velcro dog. Complete our application found on our website at the following link: https://www.mywayhomedogrescue.org/adopt/apply-to-adopt/ Richard is neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested, up to date on vaccines, has had flea treatment and de-wormer. His adoption fee is $400.

Story
Poe is a sweet senior dog. We love pets and unfortunately he is not taking well to other dogs. He likes calm and quiet so he does not prefer small children or dogs. He loves cats and thinks he is one! He does have cherry eyes, it does not cause him discomfort. Surgery is always an option we have just always opted out. He’s a lovable guy.

Story
Uno Bean is a 3-year-old Chihuahua/Dachshund mix who is cute as can be, complete with the cutest little underbite that gives him so much character. He’s the kind of dog who may feel a little unsure when meeting new people at first, but once he feels safe and comfortable, his sweet personality really shines. Watch his YouTube video now https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=10qwyGIMwr4 Uno is a total lap dog through and through. If you’re sitting on the couch, Uno will absolutely be right there with you. He loves to cuddle, get pets, and soak up all the love from his person. Once he bonds with you, he’s incredibly loyal, affectionate, and always down to snuggle. Even though Uno has only been with his foster for about a month, they’ve already formed a very close bond, which shows how deeply he connects once he feels secure. He does great with other dogs and would love to live in a home with one. He is around both big and small dogs, walks nicely on leash with multiple dogs, and interacts well with all of them. He also plays a ton with the dogs in his foster home and truly enjoys having dog friends. Uno has also been around a cat and did very well with him. More testing will still be needed to make sure he would be a good long-term match with a cat, but so far he has shown positive behavior. He has been around kids in his foster home and has done well, though more testing will help ensure the best fit. Uno also loves to play, but when playtime is over, he’s happiest curled up on the couch, cuddled close to his person. Uno would thrive in a patient, loving home that understands he just needs a little time to feel comfortable. Once he does, you’ll gain a devoted companion who wants nothing more than to love and be loved right back. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life?
