She likes to give the 7 and 12 year old kiddos in her foster house kisses. DISLIKES: Being picked up, new experiences/people, and riding in the car can be triggering to Blossom’s anxiety. Blossom will need a patient hand to continue gently introducing her to the “scary” situations in her life. PERSONALITY TRAITS: Miss Blossom is such a friendly and cuddly pup! She is in love with her cattle dog/pittie mix foster sister and will pester her with friendship and kisses until she plays with her. One unique thing about Blossom is that she doesn’t really bark, but instead “chirp-barks.” POTTY TRAINING STATUS: Blossom is potty trained with occasional accidents if it’s cold or rainy outside. EXTRAS/MISC.:  Gomez is prone to a bit of panic when he's in a new house, and for that reason we will require his new home to be secure. This means solid fences, no escape routes, and crating when he's alone. He quickly gets over this as he attaches to his new family, but we just need to make sure he's safe until he gets there. We'd also like his new home to be within the main Eugene/Springfield metro area so that his foster can get there quickly if anything happens. Ollie 1.5 year, neutered male, 14 lbs Pomeranian PERSONALITY TRAITS: Ollie is a generally friendly dog. He loves meeting people when he is comfortable and will pop up to say hi. He can be bossy with other dogs, and could do well with another neutral dog, but would also be fine alone. LIKES: Being near his person DISLIKES: Fast or unexpected movements (such as pets, being picked up), sharing his treats or found "goodies" POTTY TRAINING: He does well but may need a belly band when he is first introduced to a new environment to prevent marking. CRATE TRAINING: He will go into his crate willingly just to rest sometimes and is quiet when crated. OTHER/MISC: He is a picky eater, and has a "refined palate" and prefers soft food or fresh food. He gets very excited about junk food wrappers and boxes and stinky socks as well and will become territorial around these items. He may have had some resource insecurity in his past that have caused this. But due to his behavior when he is excited or anxious, we do not recommend him going to a home with children under 12. Ollie would be a great dog for an experienced owner who understands how to work with him to correct some of his quirks.
