Please read this post in its entirety. Please acknowledge that you have done so. Your response serves as your preliminary application. Please provide the requested information. I cannot stress that enough. I need more than "I want a dog, live in a house, and will love him/her". About George. George is a 12-year-old Chihuahua mix, weighing approximately 13.6 pounds. Unfortunately, he has been displaced due to family challenges; he was well loved and cared for. He loves to go on walks and enjoys easy-going playtime. Although he gets on well with most dogs, He is very content being an only dog. He is a bit possessive, so no free feeding if you do have other dogs. He is doing well in his foster home with other dogs. George likes to go outside, but really doesn't like to be left alone. He manages a dog door and has good potty manners. He does have an amorous dominance if given the chance. About cats. Probably not a good idea; he has been with cats, but not unsupervised. He is good with adults and children. All medical records provided. He is up to date on all vaccines, neutered, and on parasite prevention. His ideal home would be a mature couple or single senior companion with a kick-back lifestyle, with a dog door and fenced yard. He does not dig or jump. Tell us about you, your family, your activities, your property, the city you live in, other pets in your home, and whatever else puts you on top. The more information about you, the better. What can this companion expect from you, and what are your expectations of him/her? Additionally, we will not meet halfway. Please prepare to meet in person without hurry, and be willing to have a home evaluation and viewing of your social media. There is a fee for placement to offset medical and care. Age-appropriate placement is at the discretion of the guardian advocate. Please allow several or more days for a response, as I review inquiries. I appreciate your understanding—Raleigh's Rescue Advocacy. *DNA testing is not performed, and we can only give you an assumed breed or breed mix.
