We were found wandering in the country fields, and it took a little work to get us to safety with all the busy roads around. Now that we’re safe with our foster mom, we’re having a blast learning what it means to be a dog—playing with toys, soaking up affection, and figuring out how good life can be. We can be a little shy at first, but it doesn’t take long for us to warm up, especially if you come with some high-value treats (hot dogs or even a bit of pizza crust are our favorites!). Once we know you’re a friend, we’ll quickly become your best buddy. Shrimp is a gentle, happy boy who loves nothing more than being close to his person. He’ll happily follow you from room to room, just to make sure you don’t get lost without him. Even though he doesn’t have any teeth, Shrimp is a true foodie at heart — mealtime is his favorite time! He’s crate trained and sleeps well, though sometimes he can’t quite make it through the night, so he wears a diaper just to be safe. House training is still a work in progress, but he’s learning.
