Thankfully, a kind rescuer scooped us up and brought us to our amazing foster mom, where we’re now living our best lives with belly rubs, soft beds, and plenty of toys. They think we’re some kind of Chi mixes (the cute kind, obviously), and we’re expected to stay under 25 lbs full grown—small enough to fit in your lap, but big enough to fill your heart. We’re total social butterflies—great with other dogs, cats, and even those tiny humans called kids. We love to bounce, play, snuggle, and sprinkle joy everywhere we go. Now all we need is a forever family to keep the love going! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers are such awesome namesakes for us... we are ATTACHED at the hip to each other and we operate in dance like moves when we are together.... so YES we are a BONDED pair of cuties!! We are lanky chis, most likely Min Pin/Chi mixes with the long and elegant legs and sweet, playful personalities. Ginger is more reserved and shy than her boyfriend Fred. They need to stay in TX because transport would be hard on them. So you have definitely learned some about us... we are young and teeny weeny :) yes that is a word!! We are learning all the home stuff, like leash training, crate and house training and we have excelled at all!! Tig is fairly new to Bonaparte's Retreat and the best way we can describe her so far as twinkly and sparkly-she is just adorable! She had some skin issues we had checked out but is doing much better and we think her previous owner didn't know how to care for her particular skin type as a Chinese Crested because she is doing much better with her foster! She was an anxious little thing but is warming up and does still have some car anxiety that would need to be worked on so she feels safe and secure. She is very snuggly and sweet and will  make someone a great friend!May 5, 2025, 3:09 pm
