Story
Mitzi - Unclaimed senior stray now available for adoption. She will benefit from a weight loss program, and please note, she does NOT like to be picked up. Her recent vet visit resulted in a diagnosis of bilateral luxating patellas -- another reason for her to lose weight. To make an appointment to meet her, complete the online adoption application at www.denisonanimalwelfaregroup.org/adopt PREFERENCE FOR ADOPTER LOCAL TO DENISON UNTIL SHE IS SPAYED. $100 adoption fee includes spay surgery, age-appropriate vaccinations and microchip. She tested POS for heartworms and her treatment through the DAWG program will be at no cost to adopter. Adopter must agree to make her available for treatment(s). She has been treated for parasites and started on flea/tick/heartworm medications.

Story
Princetopher was posted on the county animal shelter website as urgent about a year and a half ago. We went and got him and he did really well with us. He loves to snuggle, he is more partial to females and will act protective of the female if a male tries to come near. He will also snuggle with males but prefers female company. When he's hungry or needs to go outside, he'll stand on his back legs in front of you and wave his front legs in the air. He'll do the same thing when he's outside to let you know he's ready to come back in. Our schedules have picked up significantly so he's spending more time is his kennel which he dislikes so he's taken to marking around inside of the house once he's let out of his kennel. He would thrive with an older female with time to give him since he gets really attached and will just want to be snuggled up next to his person. He would also be just as well with young girls, he's not partial to young boys. He comes with his kennel, clothes and toys.

Story
Diamond's Story: Diamond was only 1 of 10 teeny tiny puppies (about 4 weeks old) that were picked up by PLM2 from Greenville, TX Animal Control. These puppies were WAY too young to have been away from their mother, but some very heartless subhuman "dumped" these puppies in a box and left them. We have had Diamond since she was 4 weeks old, she is now about 9 weeks old. Although in the process of being trained on a potty pad, she does NOT go outside yet. She will be ready for the outside world (meaning feet on the ground) by October 16th. Diamond is a lovebug. Although Jewel is her sister, Diamond is a little less enthusiastic than her sister Jewel. She has been acclimated to being around other puppies as well as larger pups. She is a pretty amazing little girl. She will not be a big dog..........right now she weighs about 6 lbs. and is assumed to be a chi mix. Diamond will do best in a loving home, with another pup to play with (doesn't matter the size). Diamond will need a rabies shot at 4 months, and a spay in March of 2027. Spay agreement with vet references required. If Diamond looks like she is your match, please reach out! 214-334-9308 Lee Phone calls are welcome so I can answer any questions you may have.

Story
These are two amazing brothers who are looking for a new home. Sadly, we have some pretty terrible human allergies that have recently presented a problem in our home. These boys are great with kids and adults! We are sad to see them go, but are ready for them to have a home where they can stay indoors. No charge and willing to deliver.
