Story
💖 MEET PEARL 💖 Sometimes it takes a whole village — and this weekend, that’s exactly what happened. Multiple rescues came together to safely trap two terrified little souls, giving them a second chance at life. 🐾 One of those precious lives is Pearl. This tiny 8.5 lb girl is estimated to be about 10 months old. She’s “missing” one eye, and her other doesn’t function, but that doesn’t stop her from melting hearts the moment she’s held. 💕 When she first came in, Pearl was absolutely terrified — frozen in fear — but with a little patience and a lot of love, she’s already showing her sweet, trusting personality. Pearl will be seeing our vet tomorrow for a full check-up, and she should be ready for a new home as soon as our vet clears her! Pearl will need a very securely and safe home as she is not able to see!

Story
This little guy is a toy chihuahua who came from a home where he was beloved. His owner had to go into a nursing home and this baby came into the shelter. He is tiny. He loves being a pocket purse. He will fall asleep in your purse. He is a picky eater, so some experience handling dogs like this will be required. He can be whiny and barky when you leave the house, so this is a dog you should be prepared to take with you everywhere.

Story
Woody is a 5-year-old terrier mix with a BIG personality and an even bigger love for tennis balls! This guy is absolutely nuts for a ball—seriously, he could play fetch for hours and never get tired. If you’ve got an arm for throwing, Woody’s your perfect match. 💪 He’s neutered, heartworm negative, and up to date on all his vaccines—ready to head straight into his forever home! Woody has been working hard on his manners and is making progress with commands like “drop it” and “leave it.” He just needs someone willing to keep him engaged. When it comes to other dogs, Woody can be a bit selective. He likes some, not all—and he’s not afraid to show off his macho side then he gets over himself and just wants to play. Woody would do best in a home with older kids who can match his energy and are ready to spend lots of time playing fetch. If you’re looking for a fun, active, and entertaining companion, Woody is your guy!

Story
Meet Peewee Peewee is a 6-month-old Wire Hair Terrier mix who is looking for a family willing to give him the patience and time he needs to continue building confidence. He is a little more reserved than his sister, Kiwi, and is still adjusting to the shelter environment, but he has been making improvements every day. Once Peewee feels comfortable, you can see more of his personality come through. He is a sweet boy who is learning to trust and enjoy the attention from the people around him. He may take a little longer to warm up, but his progress shows that he is capable of forming strong bonds with those who give him the chance. Peewee would do best with an understanding family who will allow him to settle in at his own pace. With continued support and a loving home, he is sure to become a loyal and affectionate companion.

Story
Sweet little dog, but very active. She likes to run and play, and will bark at people driving up, the mailman, etc. Not a barker at the folks that live in the house, but anyone outside, yes, she lets them know she is there. Very sweet loving personality, wants to be with you at all time. A good dog.
