Story
Meet Frappe — At just 2 years old, this Chi mix has already overcome so much! Frappe came from a 48-dog hoarding situation, and while her past was chaotic and overwhelming, her future is full of hope. She’s a gentle, timid girl with soft, sensitive eyes that tell her whole story. What she needs now is patience, kindness, and a quiet home where she can finally exhale. A confident canine friend would be wonderful for her—someone to show her that people can be safe, that hands can be gentle, and that love doesn’t have to be scary. Frappe is ready to begin her new chapter—with you.

Story
Welcome Missy to CCPAL Rescue Foster program. Missy Gorda is a 2 -year- old Chug (Pug/Chihuahua). She weighs about 13 pounds and appears to be a good weight. She has the Pug body and is thick in the middle. She is very playful with toys. She is in a foster home with a large dog and Minnie and she does good with both. She isn’t a big shedder. She isn’t too vocal which is nice. She can use the doggy door and goes outside to do her business. She came from a hoarding situation and probably hasn’t been held much. She is a little nervous being held and has a bit of a stiff body. She loves her crate and will go to it when she is scared. The crate makes her feel safe. She is a wonderful little dog. She is really doing great in her foster home. We think the best home for Missy is a home with a partially or fully retired person or someone who has a quieter home. She would be great with someone that is more to themselves and doesn’t have a houseful of people everyday. She is a nice dog and when she is afraid she will retreat to her crate. She is getting lots of attention in her foster home and is doing great. She wouldn’t require a huge yard but a fenced one would be best for this girl. She can go with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She is currently in Texas in foster care. She is getting her vaccinations and will be spayed soon. She can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is $400 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
THEY DO NOT HAVE TO BE ADOPTED TOGETHER. Freddie and Chucky were found by a good samaritan in a box by some community mailboxes, right before Halloween. They were only 5-6 weeks old and could barely eat real food. After getting rid of all their fleas and a good meal of gruel, they began the road to a new life. It took some time to get rid of all the parasites they had inside of them, but we did not give up. Now, healthy and happy and ready to meet the world, Freddie and Chucky wait for you. They are super playful, affectionate active little boys. They love playing with other dogs and toys. Though they cannot leave until they are neutered, we are accepting applications on them. Please email us if interested.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Rowan! Born: May 14, 2025 Adoption Fee: $300 Apply to adopt at: www.adoggie4you.org Rowan is our little Romeo — full of charm, affection, and irresistible puppy eyes! He’s one of four sweet siblings rescued with their momma from a backyard breeder. Their mom had spent her life having litter after litter, until a compassionate Good Samaritan stepped in and convinced the breeder to let them go. Now, Rowan and his family are on the path to a much-deserved fresh start. Rowan is all heart. He loves his people, craves cuddles, and always has a tail wag ready for anyone who gives him attention. But don’t be fooled — he’s still a puppy through and through! He loves playing with his siblings, chasing toys, and—of course—snack time. If you’re looking for a pup who’s equal parts lover and goofball, Rowan might just steal your heart. Apply to adopt him at www.adoggie4you.org   This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast.
