Mikey is an adorable Chihuahua mix pup hoping to find a forever family. He's a 15 lb boy with long legs who just wants to cuddle with his people. He does well with the dogs he's met and ignores our cats. Mikey is such a sweetheart, he'll cry if a pup doesn't want to be his friend. Mikey is neutered, vaccinated, been given Proheart 12 and Bravecto Quantum to protect him from heartworms, fleas and ticks until November of 2026. He's also microchipped! Cheddar is the sweetest boy you'll ever meet. He's a happy go lucky little ball of energy who will always be sure to put a smile on your face with his silly antics. He loves to kiss and snuggle his people. He is house and kennel trained and does well with dogs his size. Larger dogs seem to intimidate him and he will react poorly in some situations which can be potentially harmful to him but please don't let that turn you away from this amazing little man. He is fiercely protective of what he believes to be his humans. You can bet any intruder is going to think twice before messing with his people because he is an amazing little guard dog. With that being said, he takes sometime to warm up to new environments and needs to be given the chance to show you how good of a boy he truly is. This super sweet 5 year old Chihuahua is everything anyone would ever want from a doggie friend. She is about 5 years old loves her people and a nice afternoon nap next to you. She loves other dogs big and small. She weighs in at about 13 pounds. Felice is spayed, utd on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped and on heartworm prevention. Felice is house trained with a doggie door but will use a puppy pad if necessary. She still has energy to play with the other dogs and doggie toys. I am sure you could not find a better friend than Felice. She would do well as an only dog or as a playmate for one or two siblings. She will be a treasure for the lucky person or persons who chooses her for their family. She met a cat at the clinic and did not seemed bothered by it. Do you want a special girl? Story
SPUNKY is such a sweetheart! He is a Chihuahua mix (with a micro pig, perhaps? ) approx 8 yrs old and 13 lb who is unique and amazing. Spunky loves all people. He does not meet a stranger! He is good with small dogs and cats. He is also good with calm bigger dogs. He is very housebroken and does not mark in the house. Spunky is happy to sleep in the bed with people or on his bed on the floor. He snores a little during his total bliss being cozied up next to a person. He loves his blanket and will cover himself up.... and carry it with him if he is in a rush for dinner or to greet his people at the door He is unable to jump up onto furniture, but does fine with doggie stairs or being given a boost. He is a little shadow around the house and follows his people wherever they go. Once someone sits down, he requests to be picked up to lay beside them. He will happily stay there as long as he’s allowed to. He crates quietly with his blanket, if needed, and he rides well in the car. Spunky is diabetic and requires insulin once a day and two small meals, but it is well managed and causes him no issues. He does just fine being given his medication and seems unphased by his condition. If you’re looking for a happy and content lap dog, you’ve found him! Meet Bean! His exact mix is unsure (chihuahua/Doxy?) but one thing IS for sure; he couldn’t get any cuter if he tried! Bean is very new to the rescue. So far he’s about 90% housebroken, good with cats and dogs, and crates like a dream. He is about a year old, fully vetted, heartworm negative, and approx 21lb. Bean did not have much socialization as a youngster and will need a patient family that will allow him space as needed and time to trust (he will!); he’s shy. He is working on his leash skills and doing nicely. Bean would love to find his forever family and start creating a lifelong bond and memories. Is Bean the dog for you?
