Cheddar is the sweetest boy you'll ever meet. He's a happy go lucky little ball of energy who will always be sure to put a smile on your face with his silly antics. He loves to kiss and snuggle his people. He is house and kennel trained and does well with dogs his size. Larger dogs seem to intimidate him and he will react poorly in some situations which can be potentially harmful to him but please don't let that turn you away from this amazing little man. He is fiercely protective of what he believes to be his humans. You can bet any intruder is going to think twice before messing with his people because he is an amazing little guard dog. With that being said, he takes sometime to warm up to new environments and needs to be given the chance to show you how good of a boy he truly is. Happy-go-lucky Luke! Sweet little Luke and his brother Duke came from an “accidental” litter. Their mom is a chihuahua, and there dad is, well, anyone’s guess :) Luke’s tail has not stopped wagging since he got to his foster home. He is curious, sweet, and playful. His short little legs give him a wiggly, lowrider strut that’s pure joy to watch. He enjoys playing with other dogs but has not been around cats. He’s done well with people of all ages that he’s met so far, but we are recommending children over 10 since small children can overwhelm small puppies (and vice versa). Story

Kiwi is around 4 Years Old. Currently, she is struggling with the unpredictability of our lives and the needs of our neurodivergent children, which is causing her great stress, and she doesn't deserve any of it. She requires a family that can help integrate her into their lives, as she is great with children and LOVES attention. She needs a quieter household that is free from loud verbal stimming and provides a sense of predictability, preferably a backyard of her own to investigate. Kiwi gets along with medium to smaller dogs, as larger breeds tend to intimidate her. We do not know how she will do with cats, as she is an only dog and there is a cat roaming around the apartments that intrigues her, but she never chases it. She doesn't care for chew toys or toys in general, as she is the ultimate lap dog and would prefer to be a couch potato rather than play fetch. She will love a window to watch the world from, but ultimately cannot stand delivery drivers and the boxes they bring.

SPUNKY is such a sweetheart! He is a Chihuahua mix (with a micro pig, perhaps? ) approx 8 yrs old and 13 lb who is unique and amazing. Spunky loves all people. He does not meet a stranger! He is good with small dogs and cats. He is also good with calm bigger dogs. He is very housebroken and does not mark in the house. Spunky is happy to sleep in the bed with people or on his bed on the floor. He snores a little during his total bliss being cozied up next to a person. He loves his blanket and will cover himself up.... and carry it with him if he is in a rush for dinner or to greet his people at the door He is unable to jump up onto furniture, but does fine with doggie stairs or being given a boost. He is a little shadow around the house and follows his people wherever they go. Once someone sits down, he requests to be picked up to lay beside them. He will happily stay there as long as he’s allowed to. He crates quietly with his blanket, if needed, and he rides well in the car. Spunky is diabetic and requires insulin once a day and two small meals, but it is well managed and causes him no issues. He does just fine being given his medication and seems unphased by his condition. If you’re looking for a happy and content lap dog, you’ve found him!
