Story
Our sweet senior gal Chi Chi has stolen our hearts. Chi Chi is probably around 7 years old and is very friendly and laid back. She just got spayed, is heartworm negative and has all her current vaccinations. Chi Chi is probably house trained and appears to have been well cared for until recently when she was picked up by Animal Control and found to have very irritated skin. We had the Vet check her out and it was determined that she had lots of flea bites, so the Vet gave her all kinds of meds and started a care regiment that we are continuing to heal her up. Otherwise, Chi Chi is doing well and is happy and healthy. She loves to hang out in the office with the volunteers and just chill or sit in our laps.

Story
Meet Raul, an independent and spirited pup ready to find his forever home! Raul is currently living in a foster home and is looking for a family that understands his unique needs and can provide him with the love and attention he deserves. Raul does well with other dogs while out on walks, but his ideal home would not have resident dogs. He has a strong chase instinct with cats, so a cat-free household would be best for him. In his current foster home, Raul shares his space with two female cats, but they do not interact closely due to his tendency to lunge and bark. When it comes to being alone, Raul is quite content in a gated area or free-roaming for short periods. He's house-trained and hasn't shown any issues in that regard. While Raul is a loving companion, he can be a bit particular about being handled or picked up. Sometimes he enjoys being pet, but other times he may growl and snap. It's important to approach him with patience and respect for his boundaries. Raul has made progress in his behavior and no longer exhibits food guarding with humans. However, he still displays this behavior with the resident cats, so it's essential to feed him separately. If you're looking for an independent and spirited companion who thrives in a cat-free environment, Raul could be the perfect match for you. With the right understanding and care, Raul is sure to blossom into a loyal and loving member of your family. Don't miss out on the chance to give Raul the forever home he's been waiting for!

Story
Douglas is a very lovable small girl who is beginning to learn that some things in the world are actually safe and enjoyable. Especially nice people. Douglas and her sister came to a shelter after being rescued from a hoarding situation, she was initially very scared and shy. Now in foster, she is still fearful but is getting more comfortable everyday. She's decided that it's safe and quite pleasant to let her foster mom pet her. This well-behaved girl is making progress in becoming more confident about her surroundings. She likes the company of another pup. She's getting along well with her foster's dogs. She is a house-trained girl and she does well when her foster is away from home, staying in her room. Douglas will love a home with pet parents who can spend a lot of time helping her continue becoming more secure and optimistic. Doggie housemates close to her size can be helpful. Children may be a bit too active, so she may do best just with grownups or older kids. She's an adorable girl who will love a safe, quiet home and petting parents.

Story
Honeybee is a playful, energetic, and affectionate companion who enjoys spending time with both humans and other dogs. While he's still working on his leash manners, Honeybee is eager to learn and is motivated by treats, making training sessions a fun and rewarding experience. House-trained with only a few accidents, Honeybee does well when left alone to free roam. He's a cuddle bug at heart, loving nothing more than snuggling up with his humans for a nap or some quality time. Despite his occasional excitement, Honeybee is polite and respectful, although he's still mastering his house manners. When it comes to meeting new people, Honeybee is a bit protective of his people but warms up quickly outside the home. He's gentle with his toys and prefers carrying them around rather than destroying them. Honeybee's perfect day involves daily walks, playtime with other dogs, and lounging by his human's side. Ideal for a home with or without other pets, Honeybee's adaptable nature means he can thrive in various living environments, whether it's a spacious yard or a cozy apartment. With his infectious spirit and loving personality, Honeybee is sure to bring joy and warmth to any household lucky enough to welcome him.
