Hi, I’m Rosalee, a vibrant Chi mix with a unique coat of red, black, white, and even some cool-looking blonde patches. I’m a spry little lady at just 1 year old and a light 17lbs. I’m spayed, up to date on all my vaccinations, and heartworm negative. I’m a social butterfly who gets along wonderfully with other dogs and children. I have spina bifida, which means I can’t be potty trained, but that doesn’t stop me from running and jumping joyfully. I’ve also had surgery for a luxating patella and have recovered beautifully, completing all my physical therapy like a champ. I’m looking for a family that will embrace my energetic spirit and my special needs with open arms. If you’re looking for a companion who’s full of life and love, I might just be the perfect addition to your home. Let’s make every day together a beautiful adventure! Our precious little Chihuahua boy is called Timid Timothy and at just 18 months old and 6 pounds soaking wet, this boy has had to grow up fast. Found on May 29 in a hoarding situation where there were 112 chihuahuas, adult and puppies, this boy was living in the worse conditions you can imagine. Despite all of this our boy Timid Timothy has a resilient spirit that was left him a tad 'Timid' but still he hangs close to one of the female momma Chis who has been so depressed and not moving around much. He has stayed by her side as if to comfort her and to reassure her since he is one of the few familiar dogs she has known. He is such a little Angel Guardian and slowly he himself has been craving some love and petting and wagging his tail at his foster momma. He is almost housebroken which is amazing and he is investigating the cats in the home and the big dogs too. Timothy is just the perfect little Chihuahua that will of course shake a little when in a new unfamiliar situation and then once reassured, he is settled and calm. Timothy needs a person with a big heart that needs to be needed. He wants to love someone and find a safe place in life to grow old and make someone's purpose each day a good one to spend with him. This special little one year old chihuahua is called Magic Maude. And especially sensitive little girl, that somehow got just a little too round and is on a dedicated exercise in nutrition program to drop some weight. Currently, she is eighteen pounds and we field that she would be best to be in the ten to twelve pound range as a goal. She originally was in a chaotic home that animal control had to step in and take away 112 chihuahuas that we're living in the home. An unfathomable amount of dogs that were not altered, but yet healthy. When mod came to our rescue and was put in a foster home. She lay there in her crate for days very depressed and emotionally unresponsive. She barely moved from the one spot she lay in. Eventually, after almost two weeks, she perked up with the company of few other chihuahuas coming to join her in her large crate. Soon she was going on walks with the foster. Mom and seemed to enjoy the freedom of being outside, taking in all the new sights and sounds of the neighborhood. We know she had never been leash walked due to the overcrowding at her original home. This girl is spayed and healthy and ready to start all over again. She wants love and we promised her a great family who will love her and take her for walks and treat her like the Magic Maude that she is. Willow enjoys car rides, does well at the groomer, and while she has a playful side, she definitely prefers cuddles over chaos. Rescued from a puppy mill, Willow has spent the last 10 months learning what love and comfort feel like. She’s come so far and is now ready for a forever home where she can continue to blossom. Due to her tiny size and sensitivity, Willow would do best in a home with no small children—or with older kids who understand how to be gentle with her. She hasn’t bitten, but she does get overwhelmed by very young children and may nip at their feet when stressed.
