Story
🐾 Meet Snowball 🐾 Snowball is a tiny, sweet long-haired Chihuahua mix with a heart that’s ready for love. He is a neutered male, weighing just 6–7 lbs, and is looking for a calm, understanding home where he can finally feel safe and cherished. Snowball came to us as an owner surrender after experiencing significant neglect. When he arrived, he was severely matted and suffering from multiple rotten teeth. Thanks to proper veterinary care and lots of TLC, Snowball has had a complete transformation and is feeling so much better. Medical Care Complete ✔️ Snowball is: • Neutered • Microchipped • Fully vaccinated (Rabies, Distemper, Lepto, Bordetella) • Heartworm negative • Up-to-date on bloodwork • Recently had a dental — he now has three teeth remaining Personality & Special Considerations Snowball is a true cuddle bug and much prefers being carried around rather than walking long distances. He bonds closely with his people and loves being close — laps, arms, and cozy blankets are his favorite places. Because of past grooming experiences, Snowball is sensitive about his back feet being touched. He does best with gentle handling and someone who understands his boundaries and will move at his pace. His Ideal Home 🐾 Calm, patient environment 🐾 Someone who enjoys a cuddly companion 🐾 A home willing to respect his sensitivities and provide gentle care Snowball has already endured more than any dog should, yet he remains loving, affectionate, and eager to be someone’s little shadow. If you’re looking for a small companion with a big heart, Snowball may be your perfect match. 💛🐶

Story
Meet Wanda 🌸 **Two pups, one very special bond — Cosmo and Wanda are looking for a home together** Wanda is a small Chihuahua mix with a thoughtful, observant spirit. She’s a reserved girl who takes her time, carefully reading the world around her before stepping in. Rather than rushing into everything, Wanda chooses to move at a pace that feels safe to her—and that calm awareness is one of her greatest strengths. She is still learning that humans can be trusted, but once she forms that bond, Wanda is incredibly sweet and affectionate. She responds beautifully to soft voices and gentle baby talk, and when you’re calm and patient, she’ll happily settle into your lap and enjoy quiet moments together. She is bonded to her brother, Cosmo, and must be adopted with him. Wanda draws confidence from Cosmo’s protective nature and feels safest knowing he’s by her side. Together, they create a perfectly balanced pair—his bravery and her quiet discernment complement each other beautifully. Wanda thrives in a low-traffic, peaceful home where her sensitivity is respected. Fast movements can startle her, but with time and consistency, she continues to learn that the world isn’t as scary as it once seemed. With patience, understanding, and a gentle home, Wanda will reward you with deep trust and a kind of devotion that only a truly thoughtful dog can give.

Story
Duke is a 15-lb pug mix who has officially retired from chaos. After surviving many rough years in a hoarding house, Duke has decided he’s done with nonsense and is now accepting applications for a peaceful, low-key life where his preferences are respected at all times. And yes — he has a "few" preferences. Duke is firmly in his “get off my lawn” era. He prefers: ☀ Sunshine naps (the sunnier, the better) 🛋 Sitting next to you...or on you 🛏 Sleeping in your bed (or at least in your room) 🚶 Walks, walks and more walks 🏡 A quiet home with no other animals Duke must be your one and only - he has no interest in sharing his space, his human, or his peace. He’s affectionate, loyal, and sweet — as long as you understand that he wants what he wants, when he wants it. Duke thrives with patient, understanding humans who appreciate a dog with strong opinions and a deep love for routine. He doesn’t need excitement or adventure sports. He needs consistency, calm, and a person who can laugh when he side-eyes them. Duke isn’t trying to impress anyone. He’s just looking for a soft place to land, a human who loves him and respects his boundaries, and a forever home where he can live out his golden years as he chooses. If you’re looking for a dog who will happily nap in the sun, snore in your bed, and judge you lovingly from the couch… Duke is ready to move in.

Story
Truffles is a confident, cuddle-loving 10-year-old who gets along with just about everyone, cats, dogs, you name it. While she’s happy to hang with her furry friends, what she really wants is a cozy spot next to you. She’s the kind of dog who’ll follow you from room to room, just to be nearby. Ready to give your heart (and couch) to Truffles? She’s waiting! She came in with her sister Marigold, but they don’t seem to be bonded and can be adopted separately. ##2394454##

Story
Sam came into rescue with his Pomeranian fur brother after their owner was evicted. He was the mighty protecter of his shy brother. He can be a little nippy in the beginning until he feels safe, so we would recommend a home with older children. He loves to go on car rides and leash walks. He has finally learned to go for a potty break off leash in the fenced yard. He has now been completely vetted. He did wear a belly band until after he was neutered to stop marking. He loves to run and play chase with the other small dogs. He seems to prefer the ladies. He is fostered in East TN, but transportation is included in the adoption fee and provided by Rescue Riders LLC. Please let me know if you have any questions. Please email us for the link to the adoption application
