Story
Name: Nala Spice level: &#239&#184&#143&#239&#184&#143 Age: 2 yrs Breed: chi mix Gender: female Weight: 12 lbs Good with kids: unknown, older would likely be best if any Good with dogs: yes, but no puppies Good with cats: unknown Current on vaccinations: Yes Fixed: Scheduled, please read entire bio Adoption also includes Certified Vet Inspection, and Prior vetting paperwork. Foster location: Green Bay Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html Bio: Meet the spicy little weirdo of your dreams!  Nala joins us from a shelter a few hours away. She raised a bit of heck after her admission, so of course we liked what we heard! The caring shelter staff showed her love and consistency to help her break out of her shell, and we are the lucky rescue who gets to help her find her forever! Nala unfortunately experienced a false pregnancy. The shelter staff provided support, and got her through it. While her spay is scheduled, waiting until 6 weeks after symptoms subsided so her uterus could involate was a must. Not to worry, because we’ll get her what she needs and she will never have to experience a false pregnancy again! Now, onto the spice. Nala loves toys. Nala hoards toys. She can get a tad possessive, not to be confused with aggressive. Girl loves to pile up the goods- she will pretend to chomp another dog who approaches her toy pile. Emphasis on pretend- basically you have to like the chi breed and the mischief they bring if you are interested in Nala. She would not not be a great second dog to add to your household if you haven’t done so before.  She could absolutely thrive as an only dog- and is the epitome of loyal after she has had time to decompress. Nala warmed up to the lady of the house first- so whoever is home more often will likely become her first best friend. She will bark at new people entering the house, and comes in hot- but within a few minutes she is approaching for pets. She acts a bit tough initially, but quickly drops the act and cooperates with being picked up, etc But wait, theres more…..when we said weirdo, we weren’t kidding. She may act excited over food, but….she isn’t a big eater. Decompression takes time, but home girl wouldn’t touch the first two meals she was offered. She doesn’t want to eat if she is completely alone- but is hyper focused on rejoining the other dogs if foster mom sits with her in a gated area. She has eaten “enough” with constant encouragement from foster mom- but its an odd experience if you’re used to food motivated dogs. Nala just may have a case of FOMO.  Let us help you spice up your life in 2026, consider Nala! Our Pack Animal Rescue,  Inc. Is an all foster based 501c3 rescue. License #487823. Story
Name: Wolfie Age: 5 years Breed: chi mix Gender: male Weight: 12.5 pounds Good with kids: no small children, please Good with dogs: yes Good with cats: fostered with while in TX, no exposure in WI Current on vaccinations: Yes Fixed: Yes Adoption also includes Certified Vet Inspection, and Prior vetting paperwork. Foster location: Green Bay Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html Bio: Wolfie needs space and time, but will be holding the title of stage 5 clinger before you know it!  Wolfie would benefit from an experienced home as he can be very nervous, and nip if put in fearful situations.  It will take time and effort for him to get into a potty routine, and to cut back on his “singing”. He remains a vocal dog overall, and would not be a favorite amongst your neighbors if you share walls (ie- apartment living would be rough with this dude).  Wolfie is friendly with other small dogs, but will be all over his people once he gets comfortable. He enjoys being brushed, while lounging on the couch. While he is definitely not a fan of the kennel, he is learning rapidly that it is a safe space. He becomes more accepting every day.  Wolfie will make a wonderful companion for a patient person or persons with a quiet home. He would do best with another dog to show him the ropes, but appropriate dogless homes will also be considered.  Our Pack Animal Rescue,  Inc. Is an all foster based 501c3 rescue. License #487823. Story
Name: Zoey Spice level: &#239&#184&#143&#239&#184&#143  (Wants to seem tough, but its an act) Age: 3 yrs Breed: chi mix Gender: female Weight: 7 pounds of pure cute Good with kids: not fostered with, would likely be afraid of high energy levels Good with dogs: yes Good with cats: not fostered with Current on vaccinations: Yes Fixed: Yes Adoption also includes Certified Vet Inspection, and Prior vetting paperwork. Foster location: Green Bay Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html Bio: Meet your comedic relief, Zoey! Zoey is a wee girl bringing big energy. Zoey is very vocal, and initial meetings will bring on growls and barks. She may give off Vecna vibes, but will crouch should you need to pick her up. She will run in an attempt to get away for some time (and is considered a flight risk), but is cooperative for care.  Zoey will need help with house training- in total transparency, she is not at all trained and does become fearful when outside. The leash is something she’ll need to get used to. Her foster home will continue working hard on these things, but all in all she would not be for a first time pet owner. Having another dog in the home to show her the ropes would be a huge help. She is fostered with ten other small dogs, and while she does great- she has quite the scrappy attitude. She loves running around with toys- and will pretend to chomp another dog as they run by when the mood strikes. Again, its all an act- and she is happy to snuggle in and let others give her thorough sniffs. Zoey is sure to keep you laughing, and when you least expect it will sneak up on you for belly rubs. She is treat motivated, and if you want to make fast friends just keep the goodies coming. This girl is going to take awhile to come out of her shell, but she is 100% worth it- and we are loving her shenanigans along the way! Our Pack Animal Rescue,  Inc.
