Weighing in at 18 pounds, this Chinese Crested–Terrier mix is the perfect combination of calm, charm, and quiet companionship—with the most regal ears you’ve ever seen! Daisy Mae has lived in a loving home her entire life, but sadly, her humans have both passed away. Now she’s ready for her next chapter with someone who wants to love and be loved in return. Daisy Mae is housebroken, leash trained, and currently brushing up on her basic commands like sit, stay, and come. She rarely barks unless there’s a good reason, and her non-shedding coat makes her low-maintenance on the grooming front. She enjoys the company of other dogs and is wonderfully patient with children. While she’s not a high-energy pup, Daisy Mae does love a bit of playtime—especially with canine pals—before settling into her preferred state: gentle relaxation near her person. If you’re looking for a loyal, well-mannered, and loving dog to share peaceful walks and quiet evenings, Daisy Mae might just be your perfect match.

Bahamut and Fae were adopted from the San Pedro Animal Shelter at the beginning of 2025 (they are a bonded pair). Both are extremely lovable and affectionate dogs. Bahamut is roughly 11 years old but acts like he’s still 6! He’s in very good health. He loves walks and is a food motivated learner, he’s super smart and can learn anything with enough time and commitment. He’s not aggressive with other dogs but does take a bit to warm up to new dogs. Fae is an old girl around 13-14 years old. She’s slower going, but still has some pep in her step. She does have a few health issues to note: her teeth are not in good condition and she has lost two of her canines, she likely has some arthritis and she has some milkiness visible in her eyes. Im searching for adopters who have schedules that can better support the needs of these two as my life has shifted in unexpected ways since I adopted them earlier this year.

Now, she happily greets visitors in her play yard with a wag (or as much of a wag as her little nub tail can manage!) and loves soaking up all the attention she can get. Her tail issue may be the result of past allergies or neglect, but Abby is now healthy, healing, and feeling better every day. Abby’s quiet, affectionate nature makes her the perfect companion for someone looking for a loyal and gentle friend. She’s microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and will be spayed soon, ready to start her new life with a loving family.
