BIRDIE-Sponsorship needed IMPORTANT: The Nature Network Inc. is a small 501c3 non-profit no-kill organization. Most animals we rescue are abandoned at the pound, who no one wants--seniors and special-needs. 100% of all funds are used for them—extensive veterinary and medical costs, prescription meds, rehab, special foods, supplements, and more. We are deeply grateful for help. To meet us, help us, or if you know people or businesses who would like to, please contact us at: theanimalsleftbehind@socal.rr.com (Also our PayPal Giving email address for donation and sponsorship). Mailing: The Nature Network Inc., 3826 Grand View Blvd., #66790, Los Angeles, CA 90066. 100% of all funds are used for our rescued animals. Our Board members and our president and founder are all volunteers. Our veterinary references are available upon request. BIRDIE is a senior special-needs little girl who is now Sponsorship only, and requires special food and care. She has a constantly recurring growth, she is now 12 going on 13 years old, she has a funny little cough when she gets excited which we also need to examine just in case there is a tracheal issue. She will need careful surgery to remove the growth, and at the same time serious teeth scaling (including just beneath the gum line, and always the possibility of removal of any tooth that is beyond help). She is highly intelligent, but because of age, no longer a good adoption prospect, so will get to stay with us for the rest of her years. We do this with many pups who are no longer adoptable, a labor of love :o) But unfortunately this brings on many increasingly large veterinary costs, to keep them healthy and to deal with any treatable issues they may encounter. Birdie is most likely a combination of Yorkshire Terrier and Chinese Crested with maybe a little Papillion thrown in. She is ten pounds. She was rescued from an unsafe situation and has bonded with Alice, another special-needs senior rescue girl pup at our place. The other older senior would not do well without Birdie and they keep each other happy, while receiving the specialized care they need. Birdie has been spayed, is current on everything, receiving every kind of veterinary care she needs. For more information about Birdie contact us at: theanimalsleftbehind@socal.rr.com (Also our PayPal donation and sponsorship email)

Story
Gidget is a five-year-old, 13-pound Chihuahua with a heart full of love and a personality that will steal yours. She was picked up by Riverside shelter as a stray and was terribly scared and shy, and would not come to anyone. Plus being a Black dog, no one showed interest in her and she was put on the euthenasia list... We stepped in to pull her, and after Gidget was given some space and time, she now comes to you and wants to be petted, held and is full of affection! Not once has she ever growled, shown her teeth or tried to bite. Gidget is incredibly loyal, intelligent, and brave—always curious and quick to warm up when she feels safe. She is a really good little companion girl! Gidget's the perfect combination of cuddly and playful, and she especially enjoys wrestling with other small dogs. She is quiet, well-mannered, and has a mellow, calming energy that makes her an ideal companion for a peaceful home. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on her vaccinations, and fully dog-door trained. Gidget is currently in foster care in Victorville, CA, and is ready to find her forever home. Adoption fee: $350 To meet Gidget or request an adoption application, please email: Alphadogpetrescue@yahoo.com Give this little sweetheart a chance—you won’t regret it!

Story
Max is a sweet and resilient 4-5 year old Chihuahua mix, full of affection and loyalty. He was originally adopted by a single man who became ill and brought him to us before he passed away. Max had been was attacked by a larger dog and needed surgery on his hind leg which we were able to provide. He is as good as new now, but does have a bit of a limp. Max is the definition of a best friend lap dog—he’s gentle, loving, and eager to be by your side. Max gets along wonderfully with other dogs and kids, making him a great addition to just about any home. He’s smart, well-mannered, and always ready to give kisses and cuddles. Whether he’s snuggling on the couch or following you around with those adoring eyes, Max is happiest just being near his people. This affectionate boy wants nothing more than a forever family to call his own. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will love you endlessly, Max is waiting to meet you! He's neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and house trained (but will need a little help in a new environment). Max is currently being fostered in San Bernadino County, CA and must be picked up from there. For adoption information, please contact AlphaDogPetRescue@yahoo.com

Story
Meet Sweetheart – and yes, he lives up to his name! Sweetheart is a handsome tan Chihuahua who recently came into rescue with his two Chihuahua brothers after their owner passed away. Currently unneutered and in need of a little extra TLC, Sweetheart is searching for a patient and loving home where he can feel safe and cherished once again. Though initially shy, Sweetheart has a gentle and affectionate soul. Once he feels secure, he loves to be touched, gives the sweetest kisses, and will happily come to you for affection. Sweetheart spends time kenneled with his brother Delgado, and they get along beautifully. They would be thrilled to stay together in a forever home, but Sweetheart would also thrive with a family who can give him the love, patience, and gentle care he deserves. Sweetheart enjoys outdoor adventures, sniffing around the yard, and exploring at his own pace. With time and love, he will blossom into a loyal and loving companion who will make a wonderful addition to a quiet and patient family. Sweetheart is currently being fostered in San Bernardino County, CA. For adoption inquiries, please email AlphaDogPetRescue@yahoo.com and ask for our adoption application
